21st Century Fox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 He abandoned his father? That's even worse. Nope. Just ask Fabregas, Song, et al. "Wenger was like a father to me," said Fabregas. "He did so much for me and without him I wouldn’t be here now. I spoke to him on Friday and it was so hard. At one point I couldn’t even talk because I was so sad. It was hard to say goodbye and hard to leave. He has done more for me than anyone and he is the best person I have met in football."
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Rooney puts a penalty wide. Would've killed the game off, that. Haha, even every Arsenal fan in the away end is chanting "Theo, Theo". Wenger has lost it playing Ramsey right mid.
purpleronnie Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Just ask Fabregas, Song, et al. But I guess it wasn't too hard.
BoneDog Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Rooney you dick how hard is it to hit the target from a pen? I'll tell you - it's not fricking hard it's a piece of piss. I'm only moaning as I've got cash on a Utd win. Terrible defending for Utd's goal!
purpleronnie Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I reckon vp let rooney take it out of respect.
Father Ted Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Ramsey and Santos so out of their depth. I said in the summer Arsenal's biggest loss was Alex Song, some clowns on here laughed - but watch closely today, every time Man Utd break its Rooney, Van Persie, Young, Valencia vs the Arsenal back 4, would be different with Song there. Arteta just can't do his job.

Arteta just can't do his job. Wenger did say when he sold Song he was hoping Diaby would do that job, but he knew with Diaby's injury record it was a risk. It's proved a risk that hasn't paid off. If he could stay fit Diaby would be great in that role, but he's made of glass, he'll never complete a full season.

Arsenal need to stop letting their best performers leave (I know, easier said than done).
Matt Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 You know Arsene Wenger is in trouble when he adopts the following stance;
Matt Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 See ya Wiltshire. See ya Arsenal. See ya Arsene Wenger.
Jimothy Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Wilshire off. Second yellow. Just thought it was one of those both running towards the ball situations and he's caught him accidentally, but footballs becoming a none contact sport these days. See ya Wiltshire. See ya Arsenal. See ya Arsene Wenger. You're a very strange person.
shen Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I wouldn't say he was their biggest loss, but letting both him and VP go seemed a lot like removing a Lion's teeth and then taking out its claws. Arsenal need to stop letting their best performers leave (I know, easier said than done). RVP is getting on and he didn't want to extend his contract, so what choice did they have? And given his injury record, the sum that Man Utd offered was great value for a player who had a year left on his contract. And I don't think Song was irreplaceable. Diaby is a better player IMO, and again, with him returning from injury, it was a very good deal for Arsenal. They've even bought well with Cazorla coming in, but you can't really legislate for the more than poor starts by Giroud and Podolski.

Jimothy Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Thanks, Mr Perfect. I just mean I dislike certain teams, I'm not massively fond of Man Utd or Chelsea, or even Liverpool, but I don't post on forums every time they suffer a defeat. And I've had ample opportunity with Liverpool. Every goal conceded, every card, every foul, every sodding corner conceded, you're posting, cackling away at Arsenal's misfortune. It's a little obsessive. We get it you don't like them. And before anyone trots out the old "Put him on ignore then" line, I'd rather not, other that the irrational Arsenal hate you're a decent poster.

Secondly, yes perhaps I do come across as a little obessive with my Arsenal hate, I do hate them, alot, as you can tell, but then I also do it because I know it winds people up - Like some of my other posts. I wouldn't say every goal, card and certainly corner - For example I never really posted about the first goal as I wasn't in the house or watching the game at that point - Usually when watching a game on Sky I have my laptop out aswell and just post as the game goes along, whilst commenting on Arsenal's current demise and winding people up, I don't quite get the bite I used to get of the Arsenal 'likers' who claimed they 'play the best football in the country'© though, shame Another thing - My hate for Arsenal stems from Arsene Wenger, when he is gone, the dislike may get a little less for Arsenal, although saying that I find alot of Arsenal's fans some of the most annoying fans in the country. And 1 more thing - I would actually really enjoy and celebrate an Arsenal goal right now actually (Aswell as another United goal) as that would win my bet.
Father Ted Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 A shame for Wilshere and Arsenal because he was imo Arsenal's best player on the pitch by a long way.
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 A shame for Wilshere and Arsenal because he was imo Arsenal's best player on the pitch by a long way. All he did all game was foul United's midfield?
Tom17LCFC Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Had a tenner with my mate on Utd, easiest money I'll ever make. He was adamant Arsenal would win, no chance!
Father Ted Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 All he did all game was foul United's midfield? He was the only player in that midfield who got the ball down, went looking for it and genuinely looked half like bursting forward. Defensively he was better than Cazorla and Arteta too, tracking back and pressing all the time. United can hardly talk about fouling, Cleverley should have been off for a 2nd yellow for cynically taking Wilshere down - but then again, what do you expect at OT

Agreed to an extent but Diaby is more of a box to box, Neil Danns type of player. Song just specifically sat in front of the back 4 and controlled games from there. I rate Diaby massively though

I know what you mean about winding people up, I've probably been wound up by it myself. I'll openly admit I like Arsenal. That stems from the Henry-Bergkamp days, and carried on to now due them morphing into a cavalier type team who score and ship goals at an alarming rate. They are the most entertaining team in England going from sublime to ridiculous and back again in the space of 90 minutes. I also like to read up on the history of teams and Arsenal have quite an interesting history. Anyway I think we all post as we watch the games, but yeah, yours really does come across as obsessive. Most of will post the score and a description of the goal or an opinion on what happened, not laughing our bollocks off because we dislike the team, even if we do dislike them. Anyway serious question everyone, is there a worse player in the Premier League than Andre Santos?
