foxfanazer Posted 29 October 2012 Posted 29 October 2012 Suarez's celebration was the best thing about the whole day. It was fúcking boss. it was funny
Mark_w Posted 29 October 2012 Posted 29 October 2012 Suarez's celebration was the best thing about the whole day. It was fúcking boss. Suarez being denied his second was the best thing about the whole day.
davieG Posted 29 October 2012 Author Posted 29 October 2012 So you'd be perfectly happy about seeing your team lose a game in the last minute penalty due to a dive? Moyes is right, i'd be very pissed off and it's happening all the time. Wasn't Neville booked for diving? - http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/everton-fc/everton-fc-news/2012/10/29/everton-fc-captain-phil-neville-admits-merseyside-derby-diving-booking-was-stupid-100252-32120259/ Seems to me the solution to the diving problem lies in the hands of clubs and in particular managers they know when their players are diving and if the don't like it in the game then stop their own players first. There's little point in relying on refs to solve it as they're bound to get it wrong half the time other than the most blatant of dives. Pot calling the kettle black springs to mind - can I use that?
marko Posted 29 October 2012 Posted 29 October 2012 Pot calling the kettle black springs to mind - can I use that? Racist
Corky Posted 29 October 2012 Posted 29 October 2012 I don't quite understand Ferguson's comments. He said Torres could've stayed on his feet and go on to score. Well couldn't Young have done the same?

foxfanazer Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Juan mata is a cut above anyone in the prem at the moment. True class!
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 RVP scores against former club 3 mins in to the game
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 No idea why Walcott isn't playing. Aaron Ramsey on the right instead?! United will put on a lot of pressure throughout and Walcott on the break running at Jonny fúcking Evans and Ferdinand would cause United a lot more problems than a lumped ball from a centre back to try and find Giroud.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Have to agree. What does Walcott have to do to start? I'm sure Wenger made a statement along the lines of "Sort his contract out now! Before January" and then leaves him on the bench.....
purpleronnie Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Can't stand all this 'I'm not celebrating out of respect to my former club'....bollocks, if you had so much respect for them you wouldnt have left for the dosh!
Jimothy Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 The only thing I can think is he played 120 minutes on Wednesday night and he's resting him. But I prefer managers to go out to win games, so I'd rather Wenger started with Walcott and went at Man Utd and then took him off at half time or 60 minutes. The way he's done it today by the time Walcott gets any game time Arsenal will be a few down and chasing the game.
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Can't stand all this 'I'm not celebrating out of respect to my former club'....bollocks, if you had so much respect for them you wouldnt have left for the dosh! I can't stand all this "he left for the dosh" bollocks. He left because United are at least 10 times as good as Arsenal and he wants something by the way of trophies to show for his career.
Matt Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 RVP to the player you used to have, your days are over, your days are over. In a Rita Ora - RIP stylee. C'mon United! Had RVP 1st goalscorer, United to win 3-1, so just hoping it finishes 3-1 now.
purpleronnie Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I can't stand all this "he left for the dosh" bollocks. He left because United are at least 10 times as good as Arsenal and he wants something by the way of trophies to show for his career. I'm sure he wouldnt have left for less money. But money aside its still ****in stupid.

21st Century Fox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 He reportedly turned down £300,000 a week from City, so it can't be all about the £££.
purpleronnie Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 He reportedly turned down £300,000 a week from City, so it can't be all about the £££. hearsay. Like I said money aside its still stupid, how about showing 'respect' for the club that currently pays his wages, his fellow teammates and the fans.
Jimothy Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 I'm sure he wouldnt have left for less money. But money aside its still ****in stupid. So Gareth Bale was meant to go mental last week after scoring against the team that gave him his break in the game? His move not only furthered his career and developed him into a fantastic player, but also benefited Southampton financially. Doesn't mean making that move was easy for Bale, and doesn't mean he's not eternally grateful to the club for giving him a chance. Van Persie was playing in Holland and Wenger took a chance on him that no other big club dared to. He spent 8 years there, captained the side, they stuck with him through lengthy injuries, he got to play with and learn from greats of the game such as Bergkamp and Henry. He obviously has great memories, fondness and respect for that club and everything they have done for him, but in his time there he has won the grand total of an FA Cup and and a Community Shield. He's a top player and he wants silverware next to his name, so like many top players at clubs that don't win much he's moved on looking for it. Doesn't mean Arsenal, the fans and the manager don't are forgotten by him.
EnderbyFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 Giroud is getting absolutely no service in this game. Aaron Ramsey is poor and even worse when made to play as a right winger
Matt Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 hearsay. Like I said money aside its still stupid, how about showing 'respect' for the club that currently pays his wages, his fellow teammates and the fans. So basically what you are saying is transfers shouldn't be allowed and players shouldn't move clubs. If you are a world class player who is ambitious and wanting to win things, Arsenal is not the club to be at, end of.
ScouseFox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 How much longer does Tom Cleverly have to be continually shit for before people actually take notice and realise that he's really, really bad?
21st Century Fox Posted 3 November 2012 Posted 3 November 2012 With the mercenary attitude in football today, surely showing a bit of respect to your past and a manager that was like a father figure should be somewhat commended.

I'm sure some players who leave small clubs which financially secure that clubs future that is very different to van fill my pursey. With the mercenary attitude in football today, surely showing a bit of respect to your past and a manager that was like a father figure should be somewhat commended. He abandoned his father? That's even worse. So basically what you are saying is transfers shouldn't be allowed and players shouldn't move clubs. If you are a world class player who is ambitious and wanting to win things, Arsenal is not the club to be at, end of. Nope.
