Just started an online game with my mate, he's Newcastle, I'm Everton. He's sold several players, and bought in Wellington Nem and Stoch, to name two. I've not managed to shift anyone yet and with a £1.5m balance, haven't signed anyone either. Played 2, won 2 in the PL though so it's been a decent start. Need a RB though, as Hibbert isn't that great.

Only on the demo but it seems to me that team talks only wind the players up!

It'll improve with time, I'm guessing it's because you set your reputation to either non-league or automatic.

Basically, the players have to gain trust in you. It's a bit of a ****ing annoying feature, in my opinion, but I'm sure somebody thought it was realistic.

I bought this on Friday, haven't really started it yet. Started managing Nuneaton Town, but got bored because in our first pre-season friendly we were getting hammered 0-4 by Aston Villa under 18's!

Mine seems to run really slow, even on classic mode. I have one league yet if its FA cup weekend it takes a good 2-3 minutes to process. Laptop's not too old so any ideas how to speed it up a little?

Fair enough that is kinda a decent feature, annoying but realistic i suppose

Demo has just ran out.

- 4th in the championship, 3 points from second place.

- into the Capital One Cup semi finals (drew the first leg with Liverpool 1-1 at Anfield)

Nugent and Beckford are scoring goals for fun and Michael Keane from Utd (I signed him a few days before we signed him in real life) has scored 6 from CB. In other news Trevor Benjamin has only made one appearance since resigning for us and has broken his leg and Heskey has signed a contract to come back in the summer!! Sentimental old sod.

I'm just outside the playoffs in January though I'm through to the 4th round of the cup after beating Sunderland 2-0 in a replay.

Got 5-6 injuries including King, Whitbread and Drinkwater though. Squad is thin now.

I agree with ozwin that it does "feel" a little bit rough round the edges. Was getting nowhere fast originally but gave restarted with my reputation as an international footballer and it has been a bit easier going. Currently top of the championship at Christmas. We'll see how the second half of the season unfolds....

Ademilson and Anthony Knockaert are both up for the Golden Boy award in my game. 9th in the league just approaching January, if I get anew centre-back I think I could push for a Europa League place.

Through to the Semi final of the cup with a comfortable 2-0 home win over Tottenham. Went down to 10 men in the first half too! I have either Brighton or Wigan in the semi and the other semi final is Palace v Stoke. I could win it!

5th in the league now too. 6 points off 2nd with a game in hand. Probably a tall order with 8 games remaining but you never know.

just started 3rd season, got a 36m transfer budget due to finishing 13th in league and winning the league cup.

If only this was real life :cry:

We beat Sunderland and Arsenal, we even beat Tottenham 2-0, 2-0! Brighton, Hull and Stoke City tried to f**k it up for me but we're not Cup final losers any morrre!

Used 4-2-3-1 with counter for most of the matches. It worked really well!

Adryan has a release clause under a million and gets a work permit. Fantastiche.

Wish i knew he had a release clause, he cost me 20mil 4 seasons in

into my 5th season in the premiership with city and am undefeated so far ( Dec 4th ) , am 4 pts clear of second ( man city ) and 9 pts clear of third. Changed my tactic around a bit at the beginning of the season and its worked wonders . Seem to beat the big teams easily ( apart from man city ) but its the small teams i struggle to break down for some reason .

I spend a lot of time away from home in hotels, so that's when i get to play it.

Yeah but season six?!

Not everyone spends days in pre season tweaking tactics, training schedules and coaches! Some people just leave everything to default, maybe select a pre-determined tactic and drag the players around a bit and away they go.

Frustratingly, that is what my brother does and he is a lot more successful in terms of winning games etc. than me who tries to make my own tactic :(
