Yeah, it's wierd isn't it. I've come off it now because I've looked ages for team talk (prior to a game) but cannot find it at all.

If I remember rightly from previous FMs, you need to exit highlights when this happens. Did you watch a replay or anything ? Go to match and exit highlights.

Just gone on FM. For some reason, the skin has changed and the game is totally different. Couldn't even find an option to give team talk before the Cardiff game. Can't seem to get it back though?

Go to Preferences, what skin does it say you are using?

Also, what mode are you playing, FM or FMC?

No, I haven't even played the Cardiff game itself. The skin has totally changed, so I advance to the game but can't find team talk?! If you get me...

Skin says FMC, but I've been playing football manager (not the quick version).

I get something similar. When the computer goes to sleep and fm is on, it takes a while to load up and parts of the screen are missing.

After a while i found the skin section in prefences and reloaded the skin. I dont know if this is the same thing as others are getting but it might be worth a try to avoid loosing some valuable 3 points

Steam updated and the new skin is rubbish. Team talks have gone! Can't seem to delete/revert the skin either?

edit: In fact, I think my game seems to have changed to FM classic halfway through the season?! :mad:

Finally starting to get into this now. Promoted first season with Stevenage, Beat CovScum in the play off final. Immense.

Got the Colombia job yesterday, some absolutely brilliant players. Montero, Rodriguez and of course Falcao being the obvious 3 that stand out. Hopefully take them quite far in the World Cup in 2018.

What formation's best for leicester

I've tried a 4-2-3-1 with 2 cbs a 2 fallbacks a BWM(D) a BBM a AM(s) two wingers(A) and a poacher.

I can't string results together what am I doing wrong?

Done with season two now, finished 2nd in the league I called a piece of piss lol. Mlada Boleslav (never heard of them!??!) are very good, had dropped only two points from a possible 48 before the winter break. Trailed them by about 15pts at one stage but they choked towards the end and won by 3pts. Beat them in the FA Cup final so I came away with some silverware, as well as the Super Cup at the start of the season. Europe was my main highlight though, pretty cruely knocked out of the Champions League group stages on away goals in head to head record vs Stuttgart. Europa League after Christmas was no different, beat Besiktas in the first knockout round and then was 5mins away from going through vs Sevilla on away goals before they nicked it right at the end.

My performance in Europe means that UEFA have given the Czech league an extra Champions League place for the start of the 15/16 season. Will miss the money from it all. Went from having 2m transfer budget and 125k wage budget in the first season, to having a 20m transfer budget at 225k wage budget by season three, without selling anybody for major money :) Feels nice to be making profits with a team instead of making them go bust as usual lol

Signed Rosicky on a free transfer after two loan spells, a young DL/C from Montengero and a random French winger on a free.

Season 4: Won First division, Super Cup, FA Cup. Kadlec 45 goals in 47 games, Got so much more depth to the squad now and some amazing youngsters coming through. Only needed to make one signing in the summer.. a backup GK... so I snapped up Petr Cech on a free, 34 years of age and only on 6k a week. Bargain lol will have to rethink the back-up tag i've given him though

i was the same, but once you get in to it.... you'll never get off it :thumbup:

also it sucks how I got took over after my first season and now we are known as 'penniless Leicester' lol

but i still get even a pretty decent wage budget so i can get a lot of decent freebies.

my fm 13 keeps on freezing, ive tries re-installing it, still not working. Any advice?

Does your computer meet the requirements? Freezing sounds like may be a graphics issue.

FM12: Got Lincoln from the BSP to the League 1 play-off positions, before leaving to take over at Leicester.

FM13: Fired by Lincoln before I'd even reached January.

You sound exactly the same as me, apart from I'm on the brink at Leicester. It does seem tougher this year.

Is anyone else having a problem conceding from low crosses? I can be dominating a game, but as soon as the opposition attacks down the flanks and puts in a low cross, it always ends up in the net. Bloody annoying.

Finished 14th after languishing in the bottom 3 for most of the year. Thank **** for 'Instant Result' so I can get through a season in a weekend again. I think this is only the 3rd save I've gotten past season 2 since Champ Manager.

Best players of the season were Lukas Rupp, Javier Correa, Luke Freeman, Alan Judge and Michael Keane.

I've signed a fair few Argentinian youths whose names I cannae remember. I'll dig them out later.

WTF! having won 2 BPL titles, 1 Champions League cups, 4 League Cups, 2 F.A. Cups, 1 Europa Leagues titles i've been turned down for the England job and they've appointed Martin ****ING Jol!
