I have used editor but only to add lower leagues to the English league that's all

Then that is why you cannot advance because you've done something wrong and it cannot generate the fixtures.

I've just signed Richie Wellens, Marko Fuctas & Martin Waghorn for Hinckley! I'm going to win the BSP with ease!

HELP!

Every time I start a new game i put past playing experience as sunday league or automatic, but as soon as i start the game my reputation is continental and ex professional footballer.

What am i doing wrong?

Just me that actually gets results from Futacs then? 9 goals in 27 games in the first season...

Well since he's joined he's got 11 in 16 games and set up 7

He didn't get near my team at any point. I chose to buy Carew if I needed a physical striker. Then again, with Nuge and Schlupp bagging a goal a game on average, few strikers would've been able to compete for a place...

Just signed this youngster for 7K, Not a bad but for a BSP team.

Edit: His future potential is 4.5 stars, I did scout him, but it hasn't come up for some reason.

Edit x2: I've found some really good Irish regens, and they're all worth 1-2K

I found an unbelievable Irish regen in FM 2007 or 2008 that I found through the rumours page. I bought him for 40k and he developed so insanely fast that he had already reached his top potential after 1½ seasons, and he was truly world class already.

I've just signed a defender from Bohemians (sp?) with 5* potential, his tackling and marking attributes are 17 already, he's got 16 pace

I remember football manager 2012 I took Leicester to the premier league plus won them the league cup leading to be qualified for the europa league, following season for most the season we sit in the top 10 till about February then we go on a long losing streak, come the end of the season we finished 16th plus we reached the europa league semi final but I still got sacked!

Anyone got any rough ideas on tactics?

I've started a new game about 5 times after getting 20 or so games in and being ****ing terribad, tried 3-5-2, 5-3-2, 4-2-3-1, 4-3-1-2, all with massive inconsistensy to start, petering out into drawing or losing every game :/

Strikers struggle to score, defenders make mistakes even my nan wouldn't make, just really struggling to get into it this year or find some bargains to sign :(

And it seems half the time players just ignore their instructions and revert to hoofball

Bit of a roller coaster year at Sparta. Had my closest run in for seasons to win the league, but I managed it and won the FA Cup back too for the first time for 3 years. I won the league, FA Cup and then was taken over by a business tycoon (not just a local businessman, yay) who has put money into the club. He's already decided to upgrade training facilities and youth facilities, as well as expanding the stadium.

I won the group stage of the CL by beating Arsenal in the final game, i'm now unbeaten in 2 years at home in Europe. Was hoping for a tie as easy as it can get in the KO stages, so I end up getting Real Madrid. We just capitulated in the second half at their place but dominated at home and won 2-1 (lost 5-2 on agg.) Next year, another favourable group with Man City, Fenerbache and Olympiakos. Only went out because Man City bottled it at home to Olympiakos, who I did the double over. Lost away two the other teams and could only draw with them at home. Beat Dynamo in the 1st Europa League KO stage then shamefully choked against PSV.

Also rather freakishly I was looking for a striker and noticed my scout had found a 5 star 24yo. Looked at the report and the scout felt he would be interested in joining the club which I thought was quite odd. Anyway I move on, and in the news I stumble across the headline that i've been given 20% of a sell on fee after a player, who just happens to be said player, has moved onto Real Madrid for 37m. Looked back through his history and found he played for Sparta just as the game had started. Got 6m coming my way over the next 30 months lol

Oh and i've signed a striker on loan called Lorenzo Jap a Joe

Is there any way of the changing the difficulty of it?

Not really. The reputation you start with can make the first couple of seasond tougher but not by much.

Deploy self control and so some challenges.

You have inspired me to become Hinckley as well. Can you recommend a decent tactic to play in this league?

All 3 players were transfer listed, Waghorn hadn't played in a year.

It helps that Leicester have had 4 managers in my 2 and a half season at Hinckley.

I play 4-4-2, target man and poacher
