Mark_w Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Kasper, King or Wellens. I'd be happy if any of those three end up captain next year, think any of them could do a good job.
RyanLCFC18 Posted 7 July 2012 Author Posted 7 July 2012 its whether Wellens will be in the starting 11 but yeah either of the three would be good
BNET Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Its Morgan by the way. Wellens captain, oh dear !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
cc_star Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Wellens is a good club captain, depends on NPs plans for the midfield though. Big Wes looks great captain material, surprised he's not on the list.
Fox92 Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 From that list Wellens, but as he's currently injured, I can't look past Morgan. Morgan would be my captain.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 danns before IMO. good speaker on the pitch, passionate, go in fior any tackle and grabs a goal or two! good all round captain i think. however if i had to pick pick from that list probs schmeichel. club captian: Danns Vice captain: Schmeichel
80footgiraffe Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 King or Danns, but whoever is chosen for captain, make Kasper vice...unless he's picked as captain
lovelcfc Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Gotta be Morgan but wouldn't mind kasper, not king for me not a leader at all
LcFc_Smiv Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 On the pitch Wellens would be the ideal captain, talks a lot, in the middle of the action, demands respect, experienced, knows what he's doing, will let those around him know if their not performing to expectations. However if he isn't involved as much this year I would like to see a captain who has a more of a permanent place within the team, don't really believe in keepers as a captain as I feel their out of the action, although if you appoint someone in the midfield who will be ever present as vice captain then I suppose that's covered. Not to sure on this Wellens bashing, don't think he's great but he's nowhere near as bad as people make out, can't really think of many players who deserve the grief Wellens gets given by our fans.

Wellens would be a terrible captain, he already acts like its always the others that **** up not his terrible pass and unwillingness to actually run. As for the grief, he's our play maker and he got about 6 assists last season because he has to try the stupid, overly difficult pass instead of a simple slide pass into a free man/man making a run. Danns or Konchesky for me
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Would love to see it given to Schmeichel or Danns.

Danns or Konchesky for me Fair enough, I missed a fair few games last season so I must of caught him in his good games, I know the last thing many want on here is another thread on Wellens so I'll leave it at that But yes I'd be happy with Danns!
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Danns is a good shout - assuming he's going to be a central player this season. However, Big Wes, as a fellow member of the defender's union, will get the job I think
lcfc_amie Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Either Danns or Schmeichel for me. I would be happy if Morgan was given it though.
Lambert09 Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Konch, he has far more experience then anyone and seems very level headed to me. Can't see anyone in the squad back chatting him and would imagine everyone in the squad has a huge ammount of respect for what he has achieved in his career
ealingfox Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Yep Danns or Morgan for me, wouldn't begrudge Kasper the armband but don't really agree with 'keepers being captain all that much.
accessory Posted 7 July 2012 Posted 7 July 2012 Wellens is a good club captain, The contest for forum Fcukwit of the year is now over.
