Raw Dykes Posted 1 July 2015 Posted 1 July 2015 I just caught a lovely smell that took me right back to being a kid. It's something only people about 30 or older will have smelt, probably. Driving into Shepshed from Ashby just now, I got the smell of freshly unwrapped blank cassette tapes. Not sure if it was every brand. I can remember I used to get TDK and Maxell ones. Does anyone else remember this, or know why Shepshed would smell like it on a scorching summer's day? It's a rare one - that was the first time I'd smelt it when doing something other than unwrapping a new tape, and the last time I did that was probably about 15 years ago, if not longer.

Leicesterpool was on a recording spree, re-taping all the Fools and Horses on Uk Gold. Not sure why he was in Shepshed doing it though.
