Thurmofox Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Would be good if we could get some info from someone at the game about the performance of knockaert...anyone?
marty78 Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 We've got Knockaert and we'll go up again and you're never gonna keep us down Took me a minute but I got it eventually.
foxfanazer Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Took me a minute but I got it eventually. Needs tweaking a bit as it sounds a bit camp
Babylon Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Would be good if we could get some info from someone at the game about the performance of knockaert...anyone? Well twitter says "Knockaert just took it past one player and did a rabona pass to Beckford, wow".
foxfanazer Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Well twitter says "Knockaert just took it past one player and did a rabona pass to Beckford, wow". Wtf is a robona pass?
Happy Fox Posted 7 August 2012 Author Posted 7 August 2012 Wtf is a robona pass? In association football, the rabona is a method of kicking the football whereby the kicking leg is wrapped around the back of the standing leg—effectively with one's legs crossed. From Wiki.

foxesfan1989 Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Would love Whitbread to be playing in games like this. Would make sense for fitness surely? Obviously the coaches know best...just seems illogical.

Astar_Fox Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 I'm at the game and I've been very impressed with knockaert! He's playing attacking mid infront of danns n drinky. Always wants the ball, bags of energy and not afraid 2 get stuck in, I've also been really impressed with his work rate, hasn't stopped running, chasing everything! Confident on the ball, looking forward 2 seeing him on the wing if that's where nige is going 2 play him? Hasn't really had a chance infront of goal yet but if his pre game shooting is anything 2 go by then we may very well have a gem! Hope that's some help!
marty78 Posted 7 August 2012 Posted 7 August 2012 Oh cool thanks. I call it the Kewell pass as he was the first person I can remember seeing do it I learnt that trick many years ago after watching Roberto Baggio do it. It is actually not that hard after a bit of practice but it looks great and the sort of thing fans will love.

Thanks for the info, what formation have we been playing? Waghorn/Beckford/Futacs a front three or is one on the wing?
