leicsmac Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 That was surreal. The ballboy was being a shite, but Hazard could have done the normal thing...eg. let the ref add the time wasted caused by the ballboy holding onto the ball after the 90. Giving him a kick was probably inadvisable.

Probably a good idea not to boot the child, but surely a ballboy attempting to timewaste to give their favoured team some sort of advantage should be disciplined. Or booted, whichever is more convenient.

So the ballboy was daft for doing it, but Hazard was doubly daft for giving him a dig which will now result in him being vilified and probably banned for a long time.
