Vacamion Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Well done Bradford. I know it won't get a lot of support on here, but I feel a bit sorry for Lambert. He's trying to do a rebuilding job with not a lot of money and his position will become difficult after this. I think his chairman has to be strong, as sacking Lambert isn't going to change the fact that they are skint and are reduced to playing young lads.
Corky Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Bradford killed the game for 30 mins after they scored. What a run, at a time when football needed a good story. Villa.
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Villa will sack Lambert and try and come here and poach NP, Brian Little all over again!!
Guest BlueBrett Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 They deserved it. Villa have to be worried that despite totally dominating possession and to a large extent territory they still hardly managed any decent shots on goal. Add that to the fact that they can't defend set-pieces to save their lives and it's really not looking good for them. Still think they'll beat Newcastle at the weekend though.
Corky Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 How do Villa pick themselves up from this ? They did win the game tonight, something to build on.
iamafox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 If Bradford win the cup, it would be so strange to see them play in the Europa league next season!
Corky Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 If Chelsea get through they should be in Europe anyway.
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Aston Villa fans are getting their comeuppance after baying for MON's blood. Are you F****t in disguise.
Legend_in_blue Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Can't understand why Villa are seen as being "a big club". They've done nothing of note in the top league for years. Well done Bradford.
Corky Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Can't understand why Villa are seen as being "a big club". They've done nothing of note in the top league for years. Well done Bradford. 17 years since a trophy and a top four finish.
jonthefox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Villa will sack Lambert and try and come here and poach NP, Brian Little all over again!! Don't, just don't go there .
iamafox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Millwall fans must be loving it at the minute. But judging by their own Villa FA cup match thread, not all of them are predicting a win! Well I'm sure they will now! http://www.millwall....101884&posts=17
Happy Fox Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Don't, just don't go there . Apologies my Friend for the joke, that would be sickening if lightening struck twice.
Father Ted Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Bennett the Villa left back is pure shit, no wonder they are where they are.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Can't understand why Villa are seen as being "a big club". They've done nothing of note in the top league for years. Well we have a very good history and a large fanbase. We have also played in every season of the Premier League and I think we are like 5th or 6th in the all-time Premier League table.
I am Rod Hull Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Can't understand why Villa are seen as being "a big club". They've done nothing of note in the top league for years. Well done Bradford. Look at their honours, ground, support and history... They are a "big club".
Voll Blau Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Look at their honours, ground, support and history... They are a "big club". Yep. Saying otherwise is like when the morons in our support sang "You've never won **** all" to Wolves... Made up for Bradford though.

ousefox Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Would Bradford definitely be in Europe then if Chelsea get to the final? Obviously, they have to get into Europe via the league too but no doubt about that.
Danizen Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 Would Bradford definitely be in Europe then if Chelsea get to the final? Obviously, they have to get into Europe via the league too but no doubt about that. I think they'd have to win otherwise the Europa League place will go to the team that finishes 6th.
Super_horns Posted 23 January 2013 Posted 23 January 2013 It was clear which manager gave the better and more motivating team-talk at half time! Villa stopped playing after a strong opening half and Bradford more than deserved their win.

Wouldn't mind playing the Villa in the 5th round if they do win to be honest.
