shen Posted 11 January 2013 Posted 11 January 2013 I don't know if Laudrup is just fortunate in cups or whether he actually knows how to negotiate them better than other managers. His cup record throughout his management years is pretty good, with two cup wins + two 'charity shields' in four years at Brøndby, finalist in the Copa Del Rey and quarter-finalist in the UEFA Cup (what a mad tie that was with Bayern; '99 Man Utd-esque finish) and now on the verge of another cup final with yet another unfancied side.
Manwell Pablo Posted 22 January 2013 Posted 22 January 2013 Well I'm quite looking forward to this little game tonight, given the Villa are A) Woeful B) 3-1 down to start with and C) haven't kept a clean sheet in 11 league games I quite fancy Bradford to get on the scoresheet at some point, and if they do, Villa have to score 4 to in order to avoid pens against a team that have won the last 204 odd shoot outs in a row. Would quite like to see a League Two team get a day out a Wembley (were they will inevitable get smashed but nvm)
