Jordan Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Barcelona put five past Real Sociedad without getting out of first gear. Levante and Atlético Madrid are about to play the second of three 11:00 p.m. kickoffs in La Liga this weekend, which surely must be the biggest WTF scheduling job in Europe this week.
Richard Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 I don't normally watch Spanish football but Barca seemed to play a little less tiki taka then when I last saw them? Is this a result of Villanova or are they just a little more expansive in La Liga? Or maybe it could be that I watched a special game
StanSP Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 David Villa scoring on his return from injury tonight after coming on as sub. Dream return . Excellent start to the season. Barca wasting no time in getting started. Cracking game at San Mames though! Bilbao 3-5 Betis. Levante are 1 up at home to Atl. Madrid. And Real Madrid could only draw with Valencia 1-1.

I'd have loved to see that Bilbao-Betis game. It's been all Atlético since Levante opened the scoring, but it is 1-1 going into the break.
StanSP Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Same mate. Bilbao were 3 down and clawed it back to 3-3. Atmosphere would have been crazy at that point! There's been some fine results on this opening football weekend! Long may it continue.
AmericanScott Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 Ra ra ra ra ra ra FORZA RAYOOO. Hope i can get back to Madrid for a Rayo game again sometime this season. And hopefully it's not a 7-0 molestation by Barca!
StanSP Posted 19 August 2012 Posted 19 August 2012 How much are tickets likely to be for Atl. Madrid vs Malaga? Going Madrid in October and would love to see a match. Real Madrid are playing Barcelona that weekend. But it's at the Camp Nou !
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 20 August 2012 Author Posted 20 August 2012 Today, on Monday at 11:00 pm (tomorrow i'll need more than a cup of coffe to stay awake at job), we play against Valladolid, Loovens injured is out, we have 3 left back defenders and nobody in the right back so Abraham (left back) or Goni (centre back) will play in the right, so in my opinion this will be the line up: Roberto (GK), Abraham, Alvaro, Paredes, Obradovic; Romaric, Zuculini, Apoño, Montañes, Oriol, Postiga.
Fox in the North Posted 23 August 2012 Posted 23 August 2012 3-2 now, cant wait till january when I'm off to Granada for 5 months
casablancas Posted 23 August 2012 Posted 23 August 2012 big gamble on barca paid out, just !!! £95.00 stake brought me £171.00.
Manwell Pablo Posted 24 August 2012 Posted 24 August 2012 Interesting start to the season, Serious ground for Real to make up already. Quality start for Depor after promotion, good to see the old man is still starting as well .
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 27 August 2012 Author Posted 27 August 2012 Español 1 - 2 R.Zaragoza, won the game but playing bad, as Español, one week to the end of the transfers market, and today Stefan Babovic will be new Zaragoza player for the next 3 or 4 years, we have to sign a right back and a center back, but haven't got money. And Getafe 2 - 1 R.Madrid, one of the worst games of R.Madrid that I remember. Osasuna 1 - 2 FC Barcelona, bad game of Barça, but Messi is Messi and the referee is the referee. Today Valladolid - Levante (8 pm) and Atl. Madrid - Ath. Bilbao (10 pm)
ScouseFox Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 Madrid dicking all over Barca at the moment. 2-0 after 20 minutes.
accessory Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Messi on the scoresheet again. Proud of Barca despite the defeat. They could easily have opted for damage limitation after half an hour when they were 2-0 down, a defender light and two of the world's top strikers on the rampage. Instead, their players rose magnificently to the challenge, and created plenty of chances in the second half. Alex Song also looked impressive on his debut for the blaugrana. Vilanova will be disappointed to lose his side's grip on the SuperCopa. But he's still very well placed in the league. A five-point gap, even at this early stage, will not be an easy one for Madrid to make up.
SpanishFanLCFC Posted 31 August 2012 Author Posted 31 August 2012 Third date of the season Saturday 18:00 R. Zaragoza - Malaga CF 18:00 Celta de Vigo - Osasuna 20:00 Deportivo - Getafe 22:00 R.Mallorca - R.Sociedad Sunday 12:00 Rayo Vallecano - Sevilla CF 16:00 Ath. Bilbao - R.Valladolid 18:00 UD Levante - Español 20:00 FC Barcelona - Valencia CF 22:00 R.Madrid - Granada The game between R.Betis - Atl.Madrid will be played on September 26th due to the Euro supercup
