Are only people that were there, allowed opinions and feelings on the matter? Care to remind me who missed the final penalty? People tend to ignore that and lay blame to 'the frenchman' for trying an audacious chip. Why didnt Waghorn try and place it better instead of trying to smash the shit out of it? That is'nt necessarily what I beleive, but its a pretty simple counter argument which has as much base as the one about the chip.

It's not that he actually missed the penalty that has made him a hate figure around here, with Waghorns penalty he tried his hardest to score and was clearly in pieces after he missed, yet Kermorgant didn't try at all to score for the club, he was doing it to get all the glory. He put no effort into it and showed no remorse or sorrow after missing such an imortant penalty.

The fact that Waghorn made Marshall make a class save whereas Kermogant tried to be a twat and let the gaolkeeper eat his dinner before he had to save it.
