Danno Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 Oh well was suspect defensively but good going forward. We can do better.
kingfox Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 one moderate player less to worry about .....6 more to go Who are the 6?
Poznan34 Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 Sky Sports understands Leicester are lining up a move for Stoke's Ryan Shotton. #SCFC #LCFC He takes a good thrown in. We could be the new Stoke! In all fairness to Kennedy, he was unlucky in the timing when he first came and looked an able back up when he has played.
Dr The Singh Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 It was by mutual consent.....I take that as Kennedy getting frustrated at not playing, especially last night, hence he probably wanted to leave, knowing he has no future!
Mr. Posh Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 Wouldn't be surprised to see him back at Posh. Our first choice left back is a left midfielder and currently injured. Our second choice left back is a right back and currently just coming back from an injury.
ian the fox Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 Who are the 6? why ? you want more than 6 ? how many you want me to name ?
kingfox Posted 29 August 2012 Posted 29 August 2012 why ? you want more than 6 ? how many you want me to name ? 5.10
Bettsj2 Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Kennedy was gash. He'll end up at Posh and find his level at League 1.
kingfox Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Kennedy was gash. He'll end up at Posh and find his level at League 1. He was just as decent as Kermorgant was.
Richard Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 I didn't think he was that bad? A little unremarkable but that's not necessarily a bad thing
Fox92 Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 I thought Kennedy was decent back up, although I think we need a new left back to replace Konchesky anyway.
Walshy5 Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Great so we have no cover at LB now! Konchesky knows he has no threat now if he plays crap and pearson has said on RL today that he wont be bringing anyone in!
Happy Fox Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Great so we have no cover at LB now! Konchesky knows he has no threat now if he plays crap and pearson has said on RL today that he wont be bringing anyone in! Don't believe a word he says he is keeping his irons close to his chest I hope.
ian the fox Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 5.10 SSL , Beckford , Dyer , Waghorn , Gallagher , Wellens , Danns to name but 7
Raw Dykes Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Don't believe a word he says he is keeping his irons close to his chest I hope. ... and his cards in the fire!
TrentFox Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 I like the way that you always laugh along when someone teases you about something you've written. Don't recall seeing you take exception to anyone ??
sham Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Great so we have no cover at LB now! Konchesky knows he has no threat now if he plays crap and pearson has said on RL today that he wont be bringing anyone in! Schlupp also plays at left back.
Bob Farley Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 I like the way that you always laugh along when someone teases you about something you've written. Don't recall seeing you take exception to anyone ?? thats because he's happy fox!
Walshy5 Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Schlupp also plays at left back. He's not really a LB though is he. Don't really see him as competition
Corky Posted 30 August 2012 Posted 30 August 2012 Great so we have no cover at LB now! Konchesky knows he has no threat now if he plays crap and pearson has said on RL today that he wont be bringing anyone in! They seem to be training Schlupp to be a back up left-back.
Mack Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 This one is odd for me. Cant have been on monster wages, was signed by Pearson originally, was happy to be the back up, was capable of being a back up if needed. I don't understand what we gain from releasing him? Strange.

Perhaps at 27 he wants regular firts team football
General Smuts Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 There's plenty of adequate back up left backs out of contract at the moment if we get desperate Paul Robinson or Ricardo Gardner from Bolton, Gary Borrowdale from QPR, Lee Naylor from Cardiff or Brian Easton from Burnley.
