Second Kirkland hugely overacted to what was a slap in the face. Those two points aside Leeds fans are and always will be backward up themselves pricks that deserve all that is coming to them.

It's a huge setback. Great to see everyone tar the Leeds fans with the same brush. I'm afraid the authorities won't get that specific; football fans will all suffer from stereotyping. Just a thought though... That would never have happened if there was a safe standing area on Leppings Lane, he would never have got near the pitch.

Yes Leeds attracts a fair number of mindless idiots, but most of our fans just want to get on with supporting a football club, just like fans of most other clubs. I do agree, but I'm afraid it's your reputation again. It's like when Millwall went to Hull and started throwing seats, etc, and the 'its because its Millwall' comes out. There are idiots at every football club, Warnock was right in saying it was one out of thousands. I don't agree with Jones saying that the Leeds staff shouldn't clap. Yes the chants aimed at Dave Jones are wrong, but what do you expect when certain Wednesday fans are singing about Turkey? Can't have it both ways. But overall the 'man' is an idiot, he should be given everything including prison and should be banned from all football games. I like to follow Leicester and support them for the game, and that's it. I would never enter the field to do something like that 'fan' did yesterday.

It's not a gentle slap across the face, it's basically a two-handed punch with the palms open (I suppose it could be described as a push). There's a degree of backswing involved at least. Would have floored me that's for sure. Added to the fact that he can hardly have been expecting it, it's not surprising that he went down "like a sack of shit".
Fox in exile Posted 20 October 2012 Posted 20 October 2012 Any match I have been to involving LCFC v Leeds has had 'mindless' chants and one thing that I really noticed was most of their home and away support were men who were more interested in abusing the opposition support than supporting their team. As a female Leicester fan for over 45 years I will never go to Leeds away again- it was the most hostile, abusive game and not any experience I want to repeat. I can't say I was surprised by what the cowardly idiot Leeds fan did last night- how much bravado can he take from felling Kirkland from Kirkland's blind side.....and everyone knows Kirkland is a sicknote- notice he wouldn't wanted to have taken on a more 'solid' player- pity Kirkland didn't react like Simon Royce when he was QPR's goalie....one good right hander and I am sure the Leeds idiot would have gone down. I expect Leeds away fans will be banned....again

Him and too many others either didn't think he had done anything wrong or didn't care. It genuinely depresses me that there are people like this walking around everywhere, the guy himself just makes me sick to the stomach.
