Manwell Pablo Posted 1 April 2015 Posted 1 April 2015 I'd still say Aberdeen are bigger than both Edinburgh clubs. I've watched Hearts a few times this season when they've been come to play Livi, and they didn't look overly special. Grinded out the wins (and on one occasion in a cup game were absolutely destroyed) against a very physical side. Can't see them making too much of an impact on the SPL next season, 3rd place at best. I'd be inclined to agree but only very marginally as they've won European silverware. Their all roughly around the same level
Vacamion Posted 2 April 2015 Posted 2 April 2015 I agree, but Aberdeen winning European silverware was mostly due to one of the greatest managers these shores have seen, since which they have sunk back into small team obscurity. A sort of McNottingham Forest, if you will.
Livingston Fox Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 So Hibs have lost more games this week than Hearts have lost this season. And Alan Stubbs says Hearts are the second best team in the championship. You couldn't make it up
Finnegan Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 He's just trying to keep morale up. They're having a wobble and they're a very young side but they've played some brilliant football this season, yes, better than the jambos at their best. But they've obviously been noway near as consistent. Credit where it's due, Hearts have marauded this league. But make no bones about it, Hibs have been great at their best.
Livingston Fox Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Better than the jambos at their best.Comedy gold
Livingston Fox Posted 9 April 2015 Posted 9 April 2015 Look up the 1980 Scottish Cup final Richard and you will find out why they don't sell beer at Scottish football grounds
Finnegan Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Better than the jambos at their best.Comedy gold :) :)
Livingston Fox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Open top bus parade down Easter Road tomorrow then
Richard Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 Look up the 1980 Scottish Cup final Richard and you will find out why they don't sell beer at Scottish football grounds ****ing hell, only other event up here I've been to is rugby at Murrayfield which seems to be excluded from the ban
Livingston Fox Posted 12 April 2015 Posted 12 April 2015 At the DW Stafium at Wigan, its ok for their rugby fans to drink beer at their seats but not the football fans.Same stadium, different rules.
Vacamion Posted 19 April 2015 Posted 19 April 2015 Bwahahaha. Sellick beaten by ICT 3-2 aet It's a Falkirk v Inverness Caley final.
Vacamion Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 0-3 Pretty much looking like another year without league old firm games.....
Super_horns Posted 28 May 2015 Posted 28 May 2015 Based on this result I guess its probably not good for Rangers if they go up! They would hate to be hammered by Celtic!
Voll Blau Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Reconstruction of the leagues on the cards In what form? They should really be moving to a two division 18/20 team system. Let more little clubs get a share of the Old Firm away day cash.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 29 May 2015 Author Posted 29 May 2015 Off to the Dundee derby on Wednesday night Used to to live in Nelson Street, Dundee and watch these derbies. I take an interest in 'Cally Thistle, and have watched them a few times over the past four years
BoneDog Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 Did anyone see the Motherwell player interviews after the win against Rangers? Don't know if I heard it wrong as I was doing something else at the same time but they sounded like they'd lost and seemed a bit worried about the 2nd leg to me. It all sounded very negative and I thought that if they carry that attitude to the 2nd leg they'll have a problem.
Livingston Fox Posted 30 May 2015 Posted 30 May 2015 The powers are desperate to get The Rangers and Hibs back in the top flight regardless that their not good enough to do it through promotion.
