Danny the Fox 95 Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 Seems like really poor numbers for this. 1,500 wouldn't be great for us, probably cos we'll sell out at Hull away!
Out Foxed Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 a lot of people will have been turned off by the match early this year. god that was horrendous.
Bilo Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 Probably the worst London away day of the lot, aside from the League One season. Palace, QPR and even Leyton bloody Orient have been better London awayers in recent years.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 12 December 2012 Share Posted 12 December 2012 Has to be one of the worst away days in years. No atmosphere and the performance was gutless

Basingstoke Fox Posted 13 December 2012 Share Posted 13 December 2012 Just booked my ticket for this. We've sold just over 1000 according to the guy I spoke to.
Father Ted Posted 13 December 2012 Share Posted 13 December 2012 I'm just praying that smaller allocation means that the young and elderly have been scared off so that we can create a decent atmosphere.

I can't actually believe people post things like this about our own fans... Most of you are all for this "I hate modern football" thing, well one thing that really irritates me is the fact some of you think the fans should be a certain age. Doesn't matter if someone is 6, 46 or 66, as long as they are supporting Leicester City, I couldn't care less how old they were. Its always good to see the older generation still attend games with their pin badges on, they've followed the club for years, during it's good and rough times. Maybe that's just me though... I just hope that you're welcome to watch you're team when you're older.

Exactly right what you say Fox92, some of these so called fans we have dont realise that one day they will be these old people that they willy nilly dismiss, some people are just STUPID... I think he's just generalising and pointing out that the young adult to middle aged supporters tend to give the team more vocal backing than children and the elderly. Which is probably more or less true.

Get tickets at the bottom for crying out loud. Secondly, nothing irritates me more when you get evil stares from a father after singing 'Get into them, fvck them up'. Unfortunately, a large majority of children live sheltered non-swearing lives, its FOOTBALL, what do you expect. So I'll put it this way instead: 'hopefully there will be a much larger proportion of 16-50 year olds there as opposed to previous away games so we can create a bit of an atmosphere'
Dan LCFC Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 Just over 1,000 is absolutely appalling. This will look embarrassing from the home end. Ok, maybe I worded that wrongly... Foxes1 Posted 14 December 2012 Share Posted 14 December 2012 As one of the 'Old Brigade' I will be there tomorrow the same as I was at Huddersfield, Sheff Weds Birmingham etc. When you have been brought up in the heyday of Football hooliganism going to the New Den is childs play compared to places like the Old Den, the Victoria Ground in Stoke and places like that. As other people have said we are all Leicester City fans no matter what our age is.
