goose2010 Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Some stonkers in there this year think Falcao for me though http://www.fifa.com/ballondor/puskasaward/index.html
Kitchandro Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Where is Knocky's? Between Stoch and Falcao for me. Did they put the women's one in which the goalkeeper should have saved just for the sake of it?
goose2010 Posted 21 November 2012 Author Posted 21 November 2012 wheres Zlatans from the other night? or do you think that was too late to add in? it must be a hard to just pick 10 goals,
Father Ted Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Some of them goals are just standard goals you'd see on the Football League Show every week... and Messi's only on there because he's Messi.] Poor, none really stand out to me. Where's Jiracek's? Seriously, Knockaert's 2nd vs Huddersfield was better than most of them. Even Konch vs Wolves
Captain... Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Went for Gaston Mealla, the only one on there better than Knocky's...
Kitchandro Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 wheres Zlatans from the other night? or do you think that was too late to add in? it must be a hard to just pick 10 goals, It does seem a bit stupid to compile the list before the year has finished. There's 2 months of goals that don't even have a chance.
glenny_fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Easily Gaston Mealla. Majority of those are just standard.
MC Prussian Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 1. Ibrahimovic 2. Falcao 3. Mealla And that Mexican lady surely knows how to score a screamer - honorary mention to Olivia Jimenez. Oh, and Stoch's goal is also pretty sweet.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Some of them goals are just standard goals you'd see on the Football League Show every week... and Messi's only on there because he's Messi. Too right. Not a bad goal but Ben Marshall had 3 of that exact one last season! Jiminez' was pretty good!
oli fox Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Falcao by a long way for me! Though I loved Ben Arfa's goal too. For people to come on here and say "poor" and "pretty standard" is stupid (though I agree Messi's is just there cos its Messi!)

For people to come on here and say "poor" and "pretty standard" is stupid (though I agree Messi's is just there cos its Messi!) I think it is largely because we see so many goals now than we used to, I mean there are only a finite number of ways of putting the ball in the back of the net, pre-sky if we saw those goals we would have been creaming ourselves, but now you see so many "screamers" from the lower leagues because if you try it 100 times one will fly in. I wasn't overwhelmed by any of the goals, but then neither did I think Zlatan's were that special, I think that is more to do with over exposure to football than a like of quality finishes. I don't think the token girl should be in there, she hit it well, but it was awful keeping, likewise I wouldn't have Neymar in there it was just really poor defending and keeping.

I don't know what people are expecting. Some of them aren't that good but there's a good few special ones IMO. Obviously they've all been done before but if you can find me one that hasn't I'd like to see it. 'I tire of your screamers and dribbles - ask Jose Mourinho, no wait, Gary Megson, to train an elephant to skin 11 players and backheel it in from 20 yards, then come back.' Are you allowed to catch it in your shirt, roll it down your back and knock it in with your arse?
Fox92 Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Ben Arfa.. To pick the ball up where he did, beat about five players and still score was fantastic.
Tom17LCFC Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Ibra's was nowhere near as good as people are making out. It was a great goal yes but I've seen better this season. Mealla for me.
AKCJ Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 I've just seen 'Agyemang Badu's' goal and if any of the beat that i'll be impressed. What a volley!
stix Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Badu's was a peach. Falcao's too. Out of those two for me.
Carl the Llama Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Ben Arfa or Mealla. Hatem's was easily the best of the mazy dribble options, but how often do you see a lad scorpion it in from outside the area? Voted for Mealla after a game of ip dip.
Guest MattP Posted 21 November 2012 Posted 21 November 2012 Mealla for me, brilliant. Stoch second. Putting girls goals in.
