Cardiff's Fans

What an unpleasant bunch of knuckle draggers Cardiff brought with them yesterday.

I was just coming out of the mega store as their convoy of coaches arrived, so I hung about and watched them get off.

A group of toe rags (probably around 300) dressed exclusively by Sports Direct and having smelt the fumes off a can of shandy bass disembarked and grouped together to sing.. 'Oh England... is full of shit' etc.

This is exactly what I hate about them.

Yes England is full of shit, so please piss off back to the league of Wales and you'll never have to come here again.

You might even get a crowd of over 100 for your first home game!!

I fukin hate em too. More than happy to play in our leagues. Trust me, we don't want you anymore than you claim you want to be here.

More than happy to get to the home of football in 2008 though.

I would have got a lot more wound up yesterday had any of the Cardiff fans giving the stick near us been over the age of 15.

It was hilarious seeing them get angry and one or two of the chavs literally almost in tears when we started singing about their take over and how they use to play in blue. Highlight of the 90mins

lol lol lol lol

I honestly think the Americans are the only people in the world more sensitive than the English about their country.

Cardiff and Swansea have to deal with sheep "banter", boring and repetitive songs about being a county not a country, chants of IN-GER-LUND, renditions of God Save The Queen and any number of other rubbish and over-done ditties ranging from the vaguely comical to the outright xenophobic at almost every single ground. Ours included.

You can't then start crying that they're a bunch of "knuckle draggers" because you get 'shit on the English side of the bridge' and 'England is full of shit' thrown back at you.

What I find far more absurd is fans of clubs like Hull and Bristol having the audacity to come here and sing "I want to go home, Leicester's a shithole" with no sense of irony at all!!!

Saved me a lot of time.

Lost count of the times I heard 'fvcking welsh cvnts' yesterday.

Cardiff's fans are cvnts but not for this reason, did we not sing the national anthem enough times?

Wasn't all that impressed with their end yesterday. Maybe it was just where I was but whilst their end looked impressive, I didn't hear them a great deal.

The majority of Cardiff's fans are from the areas around Cardiff and the valleys. Those areas are isolated culturally and economically. In many ways they are pretty much thrid world. If it wasn't for the UK's generous socialist policies, those areas would be wastelands, with massive levels of crime, homelessness and constant poverty. I'd even go as far as saying a tribal culture would emerge. People living in trees, scavengers, probably no written language. You could walk from the mostly English reasonably well developed city of Cardiff out into the countryside and within an hour find yourself being chased by a naked man with a club made from a tree stump. He'd be screaming at you "llunnlanndoolunnllun" which in their primitive language would translate to something like "foood. i eaaaaat. buurrrrrr. rarrrrr." To escape you'd have to run through a flock of sheep at which point the beast welshman chasing you would go into an orgasmic seizure and no longer be able to see you, and then you could hopefully gtfo of the area. Really, really horrible places. You can hardly blame the people who come from there for not being particularly civilised.

I have to say I did think they were crap, though, yes. They're usually better than that but then L1 was naff n'all. I'd speculate more than a few hangovers around!

Never had too much of a problem with Cardiff fans, though, to be honest. Cardiff Central is a bit lairy when the last trains are heading back to the valleys on a Saturday night after a home game but they're no worse than any other fans.

C'mon mun, at least try and be subtle.

Cardiff are annoying and obnoxious, but I find the likes of Hull and Bristol City more irritating. Both nothing clubs with dreadful support, but the few fans they do have think they're decent clubs which is laughable.

As for Millwall, you've more chance of finding intelligent life on Mars than in a Millwall away end.

The only time Cardiff's support has been decent at our place has been for the play-off semi, they've been piss poor every other time. Massively overrated.

Finnygin.I must admit that at the moment I find it a little disconcerting visiting places that are not holding a Leonardo or Warhol exhibition...

Talking of shit holes -where does the musician dine out in your fair city?

I regard any place requiring a drummer to be more in need of pity than scorn and I apologise to all of you brummies right here right now

Did not see too much wrong to be honest, they were a tad quiet compared to some visiting fans this year and with them being top of the league.

Was more surprised by the massive police tactical army that was parked outside.

Cardiff are a lot more pleasant than a good handfull of other clubs in our division, the only reason that they get a worse reaction from a lot of our fans is that some fans dislike the Welsh.

It's incredibly hypocritical to start a thread like this when a number of our fans chanted 'sheep shaggers' and other such delightful chants at them. Sure the anti-English chants aren't nice, but a lot of clubs use racist chants against us, with no provocation, that's a much bigger issue.

hehe

unlike some on here and in general I do base my opinions on life experience. There was one decent welshman I've met.

I'll be flocking down from the valleys of Caerphilly the weekend we're supposed to play them away (although it'll be changed to a mid week game) The missis' mother and evil welsh step father live there.

The thing about Welsh fan's (not just cardiff fans) is that they do generally mean what they say about the English. Whilst I love the Welsh sceneary of the Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia the majority of Welsh I've met are the most pig ignorant unlikeable sods ive ever met.

Thought their support vocally was pretty solid.

Some people getting their knickers is a twist over the anti-england chants...what do you really expect?

Probably would help if we didn't chant the National Anthem several times.
