ADK Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I usually like the cup and always feel like we have that 100/1 chance of making a final. But for some reason this season i'm not interested. I think it's because we are in decent league form and i'd rather we were playing another league game. I don't want us to draw a prem team and put 110% into it and be tired for our league games.
Happy Fox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 The Cup is not a distraction it is just another competition we can do well in I don't see the issue why people are complaining.
Pegosteve Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Cracking move by the Forest owners to sack O'Driscoll!
Guest Bilo Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Decent away day where we could take thousands. Fulham, Arsenal, Villa. Anywhere decent. On current form I think we'd probably take Villa as well. I've jinxed this fecker, two of those sides are going out as things stand! 3-1 Oldham as well.
kingfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Knocky and Nugent coming on. Knockaert will tear them apart.
cc_star Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 C'mon city. 4-4 over both cup games with Burton winning on away goals rule.
Father Ted Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Waghorn on for Futacs, looks like Schlupp will never play.
Guest shearfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Boring match but I'm delighted we are winning of course, probably should be winning by more but oh well... I will take this.
Finnegan Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Waghorn on for Futacs, looks like Schlupp will never play. Be very surprised if he keeps moving Schlupp between two completely different positions. He looks like a tidy full back, to be honest, I hope that conversion's permanent. Never been impressed with him up front, he's only ever looked dangerous against dreadful teams in League Cup games.
Guest Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Knocky and Nugent coming on. Knockaert will tear them apart. I wouldn't have brought either of them on. Fringe players should have been in.
Guest shearfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I wouldn't have brought either of them on. Fringe players should have been in. I just hope they don't get injured, I would understand if drawing or losing but two up no need really...
Out Foxed Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 i'd rather cardiff were still playing. a draw would have been nice.
shiv Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 I just hope they don't get injured, I would understand if drawing or losing but two up no need really... Think it's important they get some gametime at least, our next match isn't til next Saturday so Nige will want to keep them sharp.
Guest shearfox Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 penalty to maccy Scored 2-1 , but I think I would have preferred Cardiff going to a replay... might knock them back a little though Think it's important they get some gametime at least, our next match isn't til next Saturday so Nige will want to keep them sharp. That is understandable I guess
Father Ted Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Scored 2-1 , but I think I would have preferred Cardiff going to a replay... might knock them back a little though To be fair, I've only heard of 4/5 of Cardiff's starting 11... not their greatest side.
Guest Bilo Posted 5 January 2013 Posted 5 January 2013 Hopefully this will dent their confidence. Results like this can go either way, damaging or galvanising. Let's hope for the former.
