goose2010 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Don't they encourage growth 24 hours a day, they simply move it on a bit all through the night. Helps the grass in winter months. I have seen some grounds have a few of them set up. Looks like from that they are concentrating on goal mouth areas unless it is pure coincidence when the picture was taken. yes your right thats what there used for but also heat melts snow so i guess they have two uses
Libertine Dream Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Cant see it being on which Im gutted about, thanfully most of the leage wont play either
kingfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Yes I live just round the corner... And I live round the corner, corner. As you are on Collingham I am about a 2 minute walk away, and it is getting even faster now.
promised land Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Have you got under slab heating? Bizarrely in the spots where I bedded the compo down and laid the slab on it, they take ages to cover with snow. Something about the compo touching slab and the earth I think.
whoareyaaa Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 And I live round the corner, corner. As you are on Collingham I am about a 2 minute walk away, and it is getting even faster now. Haha, its not looking good and yes its starting to come down really fast now.
promised land Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 As you are on Collingham I am about a 2 minute walk away, and it is getting even faster now. You have increased your walking pace?

dynamark Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Officer i was driving down collingham road and this group of snowmen ran out in front of me. Update-Ms whelan out with yard brush on touchline Game on!! Labrokes refusing all bets otherwise
Lobsterboyuk Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Starting to get a bit trickier out there! Postponement looming larger unless this heavier snow stops
Stevie Synex Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Health and safety, deary me if they call off football match, they should corner off every shopping centre, station in the country. Problem is that shopping centres and stations are undercover and areas outside of them are classed as "public domain". I'm afraid with litigation as it is these days if someone goes ar*e over tit in an area directly surrounding the KP then there could be a risk of a potential claim. I am sure this will have some bearing in the final decision I'm afraid.
Filbert_Ross Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Ive just set off to go pub before the game.
Marmite Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I can't see it going ahead. Safety always comes first

Ozwin Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I can't see it going ahead. Safety always comes first Normally yes, but this would royally **** up Sky's schedule and that aint happening.
