TheUltimateWinner Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 It's sad because this will be the first Leicester game I've missed in 10 years

lcfcsnow Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 It's alright getting the pitch ready for kickoff but if it keeps snowing as it is within 15-20 minutes of play once it starts to settle it'll turn into the Ipswich farce again.
whitlock Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Its fine on M1 i'm coming from northampton. where abouts have you used the m1?
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Was really looking forward to this but safety comes first!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 January 2013 Author Posted 18 January 2013 M1 will be, its the surrounding roads that will get this called off. M1 will be, its the surrounding roads that will get this called off. obviously its just retards being far too cautious they end up being dangerous
ElsieLC Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 First post and I'm on about the weather.... Narborough Road and Fosse Road very slushy and some skidding. Pavements are getting bad there as snow gets compacted. It's the side roads that are really getting bad - compacted snow on icy remnants. Watch out!
AjcW Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Really hope it's on.. im sitting in my living room looking out onto the thames, it's only just stopped snowing down here and I hear its a lot worse back home, hopefully this wont ruin my day off!
Wycombe Fox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Walshy posted this on Twitter earlier, is that snow on the pitch?? It's either snow or we've re-signed Shaun Newton
Wakeyfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Just had a text from my mate who's a boro fan and she says their coach is at woodall services on M1 near sheffield and they're waiting for a call to say whether the game is on or not so they know if they should carry on or turn back!
EnglishOxide Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Drove past the stadium half an hour ago, they gritted outside of it. Inside the stadium will be fine. The streets are snowy, Narborough road relatively bad, aylestone road is fine. I think the game should go ahead, of course it will be tricky on the way to the ground with a few people slipping over but it's a football game, they used to get games on all the time through winter didn't they? If it's called off, it will be a late call and it will be a police call. Just got a text from the club in fact, saying the snow has been removed and it has been gritted. Game is on
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Myself I think it should be called off, the traffic is going to be hell around leicester plus the trains are now becoming a huge problem.
philce Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Just had a text from my mate who's a boro fan and she says their coach is at woodall services on M1 near sheffield and they're waiting for a call to say whether the game is on or not so they know if they should carry on or turn back! Feel for them if it does get canned. $ky will not allow it, so wrap up warm!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 18 January 2013 Author Posted 18 January 2013 Were on SSN now! Sayong what
Ashley Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Sayong what Pitch is fine, areas around the ground fine. It's just the roads. They'll be speaking to Leicestershire Police soon.
psychonaut Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 http://m.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/story.html?aid=17894418 Announcement by the Merc
kylestyle06 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 SSN said the stadium is clear and outside the ground is clear, it's just the traffic that will add time to people entering and leaving the city and they're waiting to hear from Leicestershire police.
whoareyaaa Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Really hope it's on.. im sitting in my living room looking out onto the thames, it's only just stopped snowing down here and I hear its a lot worse back home, hopefully this wont ruin my day off! Its not frozen is it? Paddy power we're offering 250/1 a few days back was going to take them up as well...
Munshi Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Sayong what Was showing the pitch , saying they've cleared it three times but it keeps coming. So they took out the leaf blower
Bilbo Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Sayong what Just basically saying that everything is fine in the stadium it's just the outside roads etc that could be the problem and that's up to the police to call.
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Would prefer it if Natalie Sawyer got her boobs out instead. They need to at least get her outside so we can see her nipples through her shirt.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Trains between Loughborough and Leicester are suspended until further notice
