Corky Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Isn't too bad because I'm off then anyway. Just annoying that they keep doing this, especially when there isn't any thought for the away fans. It's Millwall, the club with probably the least thought to away fans.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Everyone keeps celebrating the extra day rest, but surely it mean we play a day earlier than everyone else meaning we get less rest before this game? To be fair, we won't have a game from 16th March due to internationals on the 23rd so that'll make little difference. I'd rather lose a day that way than have to play two games in 48 hours.

I'd rather lose a day that way than have to play two games in 48 hours. I was more getting at the fact that Millwall would be in exactly the same boat as us playing a day early anyway, where as the team we are playing on the Monday will not. But this is just as good .
Jace Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 More tv games the better for me, bring back Truelife TV

But this is just as good . Very true that one Manwell. A win could actually heap the pressure on other clubs the next day as well. It's advantageous for both clubs really with the way fixtures are set up over Easter. The only people who'll be pissed off about this are Millwall fans, but they're always pissed off about something anyway.

But this is just as good . Ahh, I wasn't saying it in terms of we'd have an advantage/disadvantage over Millwall, I was saying in terms of our 'promotion push', like everyone keeps going on about.
Mack Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 It's the Police I feel sorry for. With a 7:45pm kick off they will be dragging their knuckles around the city for a good while.
1964FOX Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 It's the Police I feel sorry for. With a 7:45pm kick off they will be dragging their knuckles around the city for a good while. It will be double time to pay as well. Hate games being moved from Atury but must b a fe off so need to organise. Pre mch pub crawl.
kingfox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 They have purely put this on Sky, because they are so confident that Wood will score a hat-trick against his former club. That's the only reason I should think.
Happy Fox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Chris Wood has a WCQ for NZ on the 26th March so may not even play.
The People's Hero Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 FFS all our Saturday home games are being moved! I think we have 3 more for the rest of the season now. And I now have to sort this out with work. Why not show some away games?? Our hospitality is really good, stadium reasonably easy to get to and facilities all in place or easy to put in place.
VinceNoir Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Well, they must have chosen that game for tv because it's the one in which we seal promotion. Surely?!
coolhandfox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Could work in our favour win and it put other teams under pressure to do the same! Just the same as tomorrow, win and Hull will feel under pressure to win and reclaim 2nd place!
HoustonFox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Millwall on Good Friday, the day Jesus died to absolve us for our sins. Let's hope that the Millwall fans don't decide to (literally) crucify someone over our "sin" of buying an available player who's club agreed to sell to us above board. More games on TV for me the better, get to see my Foxes from the US and then post twaddle on FT. Wait, am I not supposed to post twaddle and phone in to the moan-in when I DON'T watch them?
Guest shearfox Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Sky moving our games again, bloody annoying but at least it is Good Friday so hopefully the turnout will be decent.
Maybes Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Decent. Leaves Saturday free for more football and beers after all day session Friday and night out, rudely interrupted by the footy of course.
Leicesterpool Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Shame it couldn't be a lunch time kick off!
Simmo86 Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 Shame it couldn't be a lunch time kick off! Not really. Some people have to work Good Friday
Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 A Sky Sports spokesman stated "Due to recent coverage of Leicester Matches and their brilliant brand of football we just can't get enough, in fact we are currently contemplating renaming SS1 to LCFC TV"

Bluetintedspecs Posted 17 January 2013 Posted 17 January 2013 You been having one of my dreams buddy? Yes mate, is it a problem if your awake though?
DB11 Posted 21 January 2013 Posted 21 January 2013 Is this actually happening? Because looking at fixture lists of both clubs, the game is still on the Saturday
Cincinnati Fox Posted 21 January 2013 Posted 21 January 2013 Unfortunately yes!! Another sat game gone At least it's Good Friday, so not quite as bad as normal Friday games
