I love the masters more than any other single sporting event.

Got a decent bottle of whisky and some good beers in.

Every minute will be on the TV.

First year I’m into golf enough to want to watch this. Really excited to see what Bryson does. Love the fact he’s using body strength to change the game up and make it interesting for a whole new group of people. About time someone rustled the boomers of this game.

Fair play to him for exploiting a potential opening, however, if players start doing the same it will be far from exciting to watch.

BDC giving it the big un pre tournament saying he's going to drive it miles off the 13th tee to give him an easier line in for his second shot and potential eagle.

Ends up with a double bogey 7

Drive for show, putt for dough etc.

(P.S. He'll probably still be there or there abouts by Sunday eve)

I’ll go and put the lottery on if Westy wins it.

Despite him being a Forest fan I’d be well made up for him.

Had him E/W without the top 6 favourites at 60s

Good bet. Would love to see Westy up there on Sunday afternoon.

He recovered well from his early double tbf. Wouldn't be surprised if he ends up top 5 but don't think he'll win this week

I wish everyone would crawl out of his arse though

The funny thing is I've bet him every year EW from his 1st year.

Not this year though. I think everyone is getting very carried away as he actually only carries it 15 odd yards more than other bigger hitters.

As long as you are within 75ft the stats suggest you get a better score at Augusta.

The way he battled today suggests he's got the potential to win, but it won't be the joyride the media are banging on about.

His opening odds were a joke.

That 7 was nasty from him. Shame because you could see he was massively in his own head. Golf is a game played between the ears and all that.

BDC struggling to make the cut while 63 year old Bernhard Langer makes it with ease.

Bloody marvelous.

No idea who to put my money on now - so many in with a chance. Really looking forward to the next 36 holes.

P.S. I would love to play a round with Sarah Stirk and Cara Banks.

I got on Johnson 12/1 Hotshots offer on Skybet before Thursday. Fiver on.

Good start from DJ today but fingers crossed nobody pulls away.

The way it is though you expect DJ, Rahm or Thomas.

Reed or Matsuyama wouldn’t surprise me.

Ancer the dark horse.

Just had a feeling in my bones about Rory so stuck a tenner on him at 20/1

Then he holes his bunker shot for birdie on 12

It's on like King Kong

And then 3 putts for a bogie
