whether you finish 1st or 2nd doesn't matter, you will get slaughtered in the premiership due to the fact your scraping games at this level.

IMHO if we both go up i would put very good money on us finishing ahead of you i am so sure of that

don't count your chickens yet, the wolf climbing the hill is always hungrier than the wolf on top of the hill

Any game where you score more than one goal you are going to class as a good performance.By contrast I think our BEST performances have been boro and palace at home... both high pressure games.

The difference between you and us is that along with our instead of convincing performances we have "steady" down to the wire ones which we will still win... and am I right in saying that prior to january you did not have that in your locker. To a degree yes, it was clinical finishing to the multitude of opportunities we carve out each match that escaped us (causing us to dominate many matches and still somehow come out of it with one or no points - and in relation to your point, yes this meant that the odd close-fought battle didn't go our way), as well as a physical presence in the opposition's area - Wood seems to be the stone that kills those 2 birds (so far in his City career).

And point proven.

What points that then son? You're not getting anything right.

The reason our fans are up and down is because we know what its like to be good as well as dross, whereas you only know the latter.

Now hurry back to your Crip factory for your day shift

Right, its quite obvious your about 12 years old if you think working for decent money is an insult.

Even now, January into February.. your on fire... and we've STILL nudged further ahead.

u wat mate?

In the four league games in 2013 so far you've picked up 10 points while we've picked up 12. I'll do the maths for you - that means we're two points closer to you than we were at the end of 2012. Plus, you lost to Macclesfield in the cup. Macclesfield, a non-league team.

You sound confident which is great, but let's be honest, you don't spend 51 years outside of the top flight because you belong there. You're tinpot, always have been and always will be. Stick to the Rugb.... well, on second thoughts, maybe not. Stick to what you're good at yeah? Whatever that is.

You sure I'm not just winding you up son? Guess you'll never know.

Truth hurts I'm afraid pal. Is anyone on this forum more ignorant than a club who sells out its entire history for one year in the Prem? I feel bad for you son.

The difference between Cardiff and us this season have been matches against top 6 rivals. I don't know the exact figures but we didn't have the best record against the teams around us in till after the hull 0-0 but Cardiff have picked up vital wins against teams like us when they needed it.

At the end of the day Cardiff are ten points clear and fair play, you have threatened to do this for probably the last 7 seasons so maybe it's about time.

It would be great for Leicester to win the league but who wouldn't take 2nd now?

Boxing fox your post implies that out of 20 wins we have not had one convincing performance?

No, it implies that out of 20 wins your convincing performances have been in the minority. I think it's definitely fair to say that we've had more convincing performances than you this season, and were it not for some very unfortunate results/refereeing earlier in the season we'd be much closer to you points wise. Usually I'd look at the table, see the points gap, and come to the same conclusions that you have w/r to Cardiff meriting their position. Unfortunately my experiences of watching Cardiff play and the points I've just made say otherwise and that your season has been a bit of an anomaly.

Fair enough and im not one to try and change opinions.

Can I ask though given the choice would you rather be in your position or ours?

Just don't agree with this mentality that you are a better side because you have won handsomely. I would love us, Cardiff, to have played Huddersfield, Ipswich and Bristol City the time you did when those clubs where dyer.

Lately we have done enough to win games but earlier in the season we have had very comfortable wins, such games as already mentioned against Wolves, Blackpool, Burnley and the Sky games at Blackburn. Keep in mind all our games since September have been without a recognised striker. Easy to ignore the disadvantages unless they affect you. How would Leicester do without Nugent or Wood?

Anyway Cardiff and Leicester will get the autos. Got a feeling you Foxes will be praying that we get a result against Hull on the last game of the season.

I'd obviously rather have the 10 point lead all else being equal, but I'd also rather still be playing in our traditional blue and watching more exciting football week in, week out.

We were doing fine without Wood, though his arrival has certainly galvanised the squad. I'd be worried if both Nuge & Wood were injured.

You lot really are fickle how an earth can you say that we are lucky to be where we are. We are ther on merit and surely you can't begrudge us on that and secondly when you say you've been winning 4-0 etc who where they against

At the end of the day the table does not lie and Cardiff deserve to be where they are because they have won more games. Yes in an ideal world every team would like to win the league by playing exciting football but in reality most Championship games are boring to watch and are scrappy games.

Spot On.

They're there on merit even if they are a cynical, dirty team who grind out a lot of victories.

Ok, you've only used it once, but you've a 100% post to usage ratio.
