Sounds like the guy on the PA system is having the biggest and most painful shit of his life.

Sounds a bit like Arnie in some places to me.

Rubbish result, terrible second half. Needed to change it and nothing happened until too late.

Just shows how shit international football is.

Nothing to get excited about.

Roy deserves to be sacked, get McClaren back.

Terrific corner Ashley, just terrific.

Why did they wait until it was all level before realising that actually, Montenegro are shit?

Still not beaten a decent side on the group and it's hardly surprising with reactive management like that.

Poor result, same old england never look comfortable, with ukraine and poland having a game in hand even 2nd place isnt guarenteed. Just hope they slip up.

Terrific atmosphere. That must have been really intimidating .Shame about the result.

wait until their players come to wembley and face the england band.

They were there for the taking, but we didn't go at them after half-time and sat back, inviting the equaliser.

We are second behind a Montenegro team that looked nothing special. Poor.

Woy will doubtless come out and declare it a good result.

Whilst it isn't the end of the world, lessons should be learned.

If Stevie G isn't playing well, regardless of him being captain, he should come off. Frank Lampard has been scoring for Chelsea, he should have had a chance.

If Baines is playing better than Cole in the league, Baines should get the nod.

If Cleverly isn't controlling the midfield, he should come off.

Against world class opposition, we would have been ripped a new one.

Not surprised at all. They are top of the group and we are 2nd for a reason. Still got to play Ukraine away which will be tough and then both Montenegro and Poland at home, neither easy. Can see us not qualifying.

Shown up. How we have failed to beat this dreadful Montenegro side in three attempts truly staggers me.

Played the three "stronger" teams in the group, (who are all brutally average) and not only have we failed to beat any of them but have been very much second best on all occasions. We are certainly making a real hash of this group and certainly aren't guaranteed a top two spot with the games coming up. Which would mean in that scenario Roy Hodgson's tenure (who I happen to like btw) will be very short lived.

Though we haven't lost competitively since the Germany game in 2010, we remain as far away as we've ever been. :(

Johnson is shit, always has been

Centre backs tonight, not good enough, should be Jagielka, Ferdinand or Cahill

Ashley Cole struggling, Baines in much better form nowadays

Milner is shit, always has been

Gerrard lacked something, as did Cleverley

Midfield would look much better, with Wilshere, Parker and Lampard in it.

Walcott would be a boost when he comes back, but bringing Young on doesn't say much, what has he done this season for Man Utd...oh yeah fook all.

Should be Oxlade-Chamberlain, or where is Zaha or Sterling?

Royston is too negative, and is in love with Milner too much.

Super negative tactics from Hodgson, he HAD to change it after 60 mins after a dire dire start to second half. "We did well to hang on" says it all about his mindset. Dreadful stuff. Roy Keane may not be a good manager but he is nail on the head with his candid non sugar coated approach.

Hodgson to his tactics wrong tonight. Should have bought lampard / Osman on when Montenegro were getting on top

Hodgson got his tactics right in the first half.

The substitutions came too late. I think that's all there is to it.

Hart

Walker - Jagielka - Ferdinand - Baines

Parker

Gerrard - Wilshere

Walcott - Rooney - Sturridge

That's what it should look like, because I'm better than Royston.
