kingfox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Lock him in the closet with Crncic until he is fit again. Don't want him leading players astray.
Captain... Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Is there anything other than a fanciful post on here to suggest that he has actually returned to the club, he didn't when he was injured for about month earlier in his loan deal.
southwest fox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Beckford out with torn hamstring for at least a month Get well becks, But dont come back to leicester stay were you are !!!
Bluetintedspecs Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Is there anything other than a fanciful post on here to suggest that he has actually returned to the club, he didn't when he was injured for about month earlier in his loan deal. Well there's always that Cap'n!
JmorsonLCFC Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Tripping over his own feet whilst through on goal would be my guess fell over his ego
NewquayFox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Will be back at Leicester getting treatment, our player so we have to sort his injury out.
Fox92 Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 He had plenty of chances, and unlike waghorn, beckford has never proved he can be successful at this level, he is also a lot older than waghorn and on the decline, not to mention the alleged bad attitude and disruptive influence. Although Andy King once said in an interview that Beckford makes sure he speaks to every player before training to see if they are ok, and had a good night.
Fox92 Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Not good to see any of our players injured, obviously.
fleckneymike Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 We don't want him injured. We need him fit and scoring if we want him off our books for good. If he's injured no one is going to take him off us.
Zingari Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Only weak people tear hamstrings . EDIT; Sorry yojoe36 , just seen your post !
Babylon Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I also think Beckford is bulled, I've noticed like Gally he gets hugely criticised by the fans also I don't believe Beckford as many friends on the pitch if fans gave him more support then maybe we might see a difference. Just give the poor guy a break, give him one more chance like we did for Waggy. Beckford is bullied? Weak people feel pressure get bullied.
NewquayFox Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 It makes sense for Beckford to be playing/scoring, we have played Huddersfield twice in the league and they have to play our rivals so get him fit & back playing... ;0)
cc_star Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 It makes sense for Beckford to be playing/scoring, we have played Huddersfield twice in the league and they have to play our rivals so get him fit & back playing... ;0) Certainly does. If only the scoring wasn't a problem for him.
Kitchandro Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Beckford gets bullied? His parents must have been gay
Jace Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 As much as I like a good Beckford joke I really struggle to see where all these bad attitude stories come from?
Bert Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I love how people assume Beckford is a trouble maker. He's gonna be here for treatment and that's it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 I love how people assume Beckford is a trouble maker. He's gonna be here for treatment and that's it. Ah! 'Beckford-love' again Bertie?
Bert Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Ah! 'Beckford-love' again Bertie? Not at all mate. Just some people are too quick to judge.
Danny the Fox 95 Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 If he made out that he gave a shit then the fans may support him, instead he ****s around and doesn't help the team in any way. However if we lose Nugent/Wood, I'd much rather play him than Waghorn or Vardy
fleckneymike Posted 6 February 2013 Posted 6 February 2013 Whatever criticism we may wish to lay at his feet in terms of on field ability is fair enough, off the field he's said nothing and continues to say nothing so to create a narrative of a trouble maker seems unfair.
anotherharboroughfox Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 I love how people assume Beckford is a trouble maker. Isn't it obvious how he's going to come and tell everyone how shit they are and demoralise the team? This way if we don't get promoted we can blame Beckford for coming back to Leicester for treatment...
Jace Posted 7 February 2013 Posted 7 February 2013 I would rather have Beckford upfront that Vardy tbh I know wages are an issue but I really don't believe the guy has an attitude
