dynamark Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 I ot the distinct impression Roy had been a bit more diplomatic on his recent TV appearances. For instance 'yes definite red card for me' I can only dream of stringer trying to do an after match interview radio magic However anything is possible here in leicesterwonderland
Kitchandro Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Well i hope it's not true .... But can't see why when someone posts something that they've been told they get rounded on. Because we don't want to hear everything that everyone has been told, especially in a new thread (which it was originally). That's just attention seeking and he knows it. He admits that even he thinks it's bullshit (assuming he didn't actually make this up himself) so why does he feel the need to make a thread about it?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Now that is truly hilarious for comic relief day , just donated another £5 on the strength of the fkn Roy fkn Keane

Libertine Dream Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Personally think its bull it but I know for a fact that Roy Keane was very close to being done before Pearson came in.

Freeman's Wharfer Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 Pearson under pressure?! I've just written a new blog article on the very subject... http://www.theposthorngallop.blogspot.co.uk/
Guest ttfn Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 As I've said before, I'm not bothered either way by Pearson at the moment. As for Keane, I don't get all the vitriol. He's had 2 and a half seasons at this level and achieved 1 promotion. Seems like a decent enough record to me. Sure, he's as mad as a box of frogs, but he's a winner and a legend of the game. I'm sure I'm in the minority here but if Pearson went I'd welcome him with open arms.

One of my workmates uses the phrase 'mad as a badger' too and I've often wondered why and if she's ever come across a badger and a particularly mad one?

Wonder if the Ipswich fans think that?? or even Sunderland fans after 2008 when his earlier great work came under pressure and his answer was to ruin Dwight Yorke's international career & have a strop with everyone. I think he's long lost the respect he earnt through his playing career which carried them through that first season promotion campaign. He just comes across as a bitter old man now
Danno Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 He's gone now, surely? Hopefully. BORING BORING PEARSON
acooling08 Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 For the first time, my support for Pearson is starting to disappear. Shocking, not just in terms of quality, but also in terms of no fight, no passion.
Maybes Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 For the first time, my support for Pearson is starting to disappear. Shocking, not just in terms of quality, but also in terms of no fight, no passion. Exactly this. This is how I feel. I'm a big fan of Pearson but our recent run has been unacceptable and I'm afraid he must take the blame. Can we play 4-4-2 please.
ADK Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 I'm a fan of Pearson but this is comfortably the worst Pearson performance i've ever seen. I do feel for the guy though, he's spent a large proportion of his managerial career here and i can easily see him getting the sack after this. I just don't know how we can be playing so badly. Our passing is off and our defence which is usually solid is a shambles. Keane and Stledger are having shockers and Morgan is being bypassed. The 3 in midfield just isn't working as we usually end up hoofing it via Stledger or Morgan. Realistically we have very little chance of getting anything from this game now.
JonnyBoy Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 i don;t think anyone can back Pearson now, i have a strong feeling the players don't want him there either
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 I'm a massive Pearson supporter, I think he's done wonders in a year to transform us from a mess under Sven to a team that looked one of the best in the division for two-thirds of the season. Sacking him is the wrong thing to do; morally (if that even comes into it), in terms of it being a quick-fix solution attempt... but I must admit that nagging feeling of 'what if' in terms of someone coming in and lifting them to get us over the line. Could go completely the other way in the sense that this is a Pearson team. I think a mixture of lack of strength in depth (failure to enough business in January, Pearson's fault? Possibly not) and a lack of confidence is absolutely potent at the minute.
Jimmy Posted 16 March 2013 Posted 16 March 2013 the players body language is awful, too many players badly out of form with no options to replace them, and Pearson decided to get rid of all the players leaving is lacking depth
