Pearson In/Out

Pearsons policy is clearly to invest in youth which requires time, I know its painfully difficult to be patient as a football fan, but he has too be given another season, there is no doubt we have talent and the exp of not getting to the prem could be what some of these youngsters need.

With a few more additions I think we could be s true force. But hey still not over yet this season

That makes no sense fair enough if the objective was a year on year building project however the remit is promotion this season.

im not saying that... it lies with all parties i agree np has got things working 100% at the moment what im trying do is get certain "fans" to look at the bigger picture look at leicester over the last ten years, have we been any better off or had a better man for the job? if the "fans" push the board into a silly decision it could be a step backwards again.

I will tell you this for nothing, in the owners eyes he has failed already, he has till the end of the season promotion or not... he is managing now for his future job and reputation. these owners are only interested in winning and success, for me auto promotion has gone, that was the remit. Constant failure reflects on them here and in the far east, it will not be tolerated with the outlay they have made. weather its fair or not ,thats the way things are going to be..

we are in freefall. we may be 5th, but we were joint top!

We won't be in 5th after the next 2 games on current form.

It's almost like he team were abducted by aliens in February, and replaced with doppelgängers such is the sudden collapse in confidence & form.

I swear its not the same team....

Nigel Pearson has been the best manager at this football club for ten years. Period. Fact. No discussion. We need to give this guy another season, even if we don't go up.

Whatever you ****** say he has progressed the club up from a position from when he started, with a squad most people would perceive as worse on paper. Yes, we have dropped from automatic places to 5th place (in a play offs in which we could beat any team around us) but doesn't he deserve 10 games to keep us in a competitive position that he got us into in the first place?

And if it goes tits up, if we lose the play-offs or miss out altogether? We have a manager with an exceptional group of young players who only need a few additions to become a very, very good side. We could sack him at the end of the season but we still have to play in this league another season with a new manager and a new set of players, and the circle continues.

Clubs are built, not bought. Cardiff have been challenging for 5 years and now its finally coming up tops. Hull are among the auto favorites in a house that Pearson built the foundations. If we are to get in the prem then NP should be the man to do it. He deserves our support much more than Nigel Adkins does.

That's what I think, anyway.

i moan when i want to and by the way your so blind to the fact that pearson his no better than sven at the end regardless where we are in the league. this is the worst run since paulos time and look what happened to him. but we still got this **** in charge

our aim at the start of the season is to get promotion and were still set to acheive that !? where you calling np a **** when we were top two earlier in the season? support through thick and thin there is no better manager out there( that is acheivable for us to attract!) stop being so fickle were gonna have good/bad runs under any manager! every team does and always will what matters is the end of season achievements so lets see how that pans out before we make rash decisions!

Did he say that once?

We're not discussing what we think the owners will do anyway, we're discussing what we think they should do.

You will eventually come to a time in your life where you HAVE a life, and you rightly prioritise that over football. In the meantime, try not to be an arrogant **** and think that caring means throwing your money at the club regardless of how they treat you, just because you don't actually have anything better to do, and that those who do have something else to do are somehow less important than you, or have less of a right to an opinion on the internet.

Can't :appl: this enough

It would be stupid to sack Pearson at the moment, i think its a better call at the end of the season....yes he has invested into some good young players which bodes well for the future, who ever is in charge then......I do have doubts about Pearson being able to manage in the premiership .....he is a man who likes rigid predictability and I find he inhibits creative players from doing their thing, which seems to have happened this season when we were a really exciting side and lost a couple of games he started to revert the team into his usual grinding machine.....and now some of the players seem to have lost thier mojo because of this.....but then I do not think we will get anything else out of Pearson..;you only have to look at where he spent his playing days.....in boring sides that ground out results and never achieved much......

I agree with much of this. Ten games yes. Another season? That should depend on the ten games.

But if he does go, then it's quite possible that, as at Hull, somebody could build on his foundations here too. And if Pearson doesn't go back to the drawing board fast, then that will be sooner rather than later. It'd be a great shame, but we'd have to see whether it turned out to be a disaster or not.

A very good point.

I was constructing a meaningful response to this, but it's easier just to say you're wrong.

Of course I'm interested in what they do, but no one on here knows exactly what they are going to do so it's pointless discussing it. What we can do is talk about what we think they should be doing.

obviously not been watching very closely over 30 years ( i can only vouch for the last 20) but id pick him second to oneill out the lot! whatever hatred you have towards him is not in the interest of the club obviously??

often with fall outs e.g. Wayne Brown, Jimmy Bullard at Hull, Matt Mills, Beckford, Bamba, Danns, Peltier, St Ledger.

To be fair, the large majority of them are S**t C**ts. Falling out with S**t C**ts is not a quality I see as negative. He prefers honest respectful players. As do I Nigel, as do I.

trust me, pearson is a dead man walking no matter what. they will not let him manage in the premier even if we got through the playoffs. you keep on thinking.

I missed this originally. Going to need some time to recover from someone suggesting that Nigel falling out with that twat is evidence of his failings as a manager. What a superb way to completely destroy your argument.

I've read some stupid things on here but this is up there with the most retarded.

Really ? we shall see. weather you me or any fan likes it or not ,thats what will happen. pearson has lost one third of his games this season, that CV will not suffice for these owners bet on it..
