Steven Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Dunno what everyone's so mad about, our recent form's making me feel all nostalgic.
inckley fox Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 We look totally devoid of ability and confidence and that is down to NP he is the manager. Something has gone deeply wrong are the players not playing for the manager or vice versa? Either way something needs to change to get us back on track. Yes, but I'd prefer NP to take a good long look at himself and change the approach himself. Will he? It's starting to look unlikely.
john doe Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 We sack pearson, we'll be a laughing stock. better than one with him. all laughing at us any way
Simmo86 Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 We sack pearson, we'll be a laughing stock. Whats worse laughing stock for sacking your manager or because you were 2nd but finished 10th!

inckley fox Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Whats worse laughing stock for sacking your manager or because you were 2nd but finished 10th! Like Forest?
Jon the Hat Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 you'll find most of the posters during the game didn't attend it, rather like the phone ins afterwards. This winds me up no end, if you weren't there then you have absolutely no right to comment on what went on. You never saw it, you listened to someone else's version of the game. If you were a true supporter then you'd be at the game. Oh and this bell end Hugo idiot, do us all a favour and go and boil your head. You sir may **** off. We can and will comment as we see fit and have as much right as anyone else.
promised land Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 You sir may **** off. We can and will comment as we see fit and have as much right as anyone else. Don't tell me to **** off, if we were all like you then the club wouldn't exist, simple as that. Supporters support their team and club, they don't sit at home watching Jeff or listening to a radio in the kitchen. Ok some people live far and wide or work on match days but for anyone who is sat at home or in a pub, the club means nothing to you or you'd be at the game. You too can boil your head as well.

You will eventually come to a time in your life where you HAVE a life, and you rightly prioritise that over football. In the meantime, try not to be an arrogant **** and think that caring means throwing your money at the club regardless of how they treat you, just because you don't actually have anything better to do, and that those who do have something else to do are somehow less important than you, or have less of a right to an opinion on the internet.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 I think I could make a good bit of dosh off this forum "Handbags!! Get yer handbags here!"
indierich06 Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Thats the kind of response I was looking for Just another quick point to add to that though. I think that the players here though ARE good enough. They got us to second, so the quality is there. It just seems that the guidance isn't./ If it was a case of new manager and then that new manager overhauling the team then i'd agree, its dangerous and a potentially expensive gamble to make. But this team IS good enough. We've seen the same players this season absolutely destroy teams like we've never seen before so I believe, shy of a few backup players for weaker areas, our team is good enough. I dunno, I just cant see past the fact that Nigel is too set in his ways, too stubborn, and his playing players to fit in the starting 11 regardless of whether its a players preferred position, is contributing to the loss of form so many of our players are suffering from. So the players who got us to second are good enough but the manager who guided us there isn't? Doesn't make much sense. Don't get me wrong - Pearson has to take some blame for recent results, but the players need to shoulder some blame too - they haven't been performing anywhere near their best lately.
Gazza M Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 It is a very strange time at the club at the moment. Six games ago the thought of sacking the manager of the month was totally obsurd. I have always been a big Pearson fan and was gutted he left first time to Hull when he had built a side here that would have been genuine automatic contenders the next season. He always seems to be up against it. With us first time he had to pick us up from league one and completely re-build. With Hull he had to re-build there after their relegation and was turning it around quickly and second time round with us he has had to re-build totally agin. However, as much as I like Pearson, I am worried if he has it in him to get a club promoted at this level. His inibility to turn it around when things go against us is alarming. We very rarely come back to win when we concede first and I wonder if he has it tactically to change from the original plan. He has an excellent scouting network and has bought good players in. But he is young player biased and doesn't seem to be able to mange the experienced players well, often with fall outs e.g. Wayne Brown, Jimmy Bullard at Hull, Matt Mills, Beckford, Bamba, Danns, Peltier, St Ledger. I think however that we should keep sticking by Pearson. Let's see the season out, maybe we might get in the playoffs and win the lottery. Maybe we might crap out and finish 10th! Who knows. But re-asses in the summer. If we are in the same position this time next year, then I think that would be a more than fair crack, but I don't think he has had enough time, which I think we owe they guy for his loyalty to the club. Pearson needs to learn from his mistakes though. More experience required to help the young lads out in the future please.
cc_star Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Couldn't care less if we sack him or not,all that matters is that were very poor at the min, and todays performance is the worst ive seen for a very long time, yes were still 5th but god knows how, we don't deserve to be, and carry on in this vein, and were gonna be lucky to make the play offs at all, and to be honest it looks a long shot at the min......... Can't hide the dreadful form, but it looks far from a longshot for the playoffs - 18 teams would swap places with us in a heartbeat, 4 wouldn't.
Dan Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Why should he fvck off to cov, because he has a different view to you? While i see where your coming from, in terms of him starting the thread during the game,he is still entitled to his opinion. I expect he cares as much for our club as you, and for him, and numerous other fans, Pearson is a busted flush, and he may argue that by keeping Pearson here, it is actually going to make it more unlikely that we will gain promotion, than if we bring someone new in. No, because he's literally waiting for us to fail so he can pipe up. Fancy doing a thread calling for the manager during a game what a joke.
john doe Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 No, because he's literally waiting for us to fail so he can pipe up. Fancy doing a thread calling for the manager during a game what a joke. more sense than you .dan the fanny
buzzy Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Just to combat the doom mongerers, Pearson must stay unless you want to end the season now and go through another merry go round of players, with no guarantee of ending up in a better position than we are in now. WE ARE 5TH! The best position we have been in for years, so shut the fook up. lets see the rest of the car crash happen then in may we can say fook off to the driver.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 Yes its disappointing how bad we're doing currently. But lets just calm down. We're still fifth and Id have taken that in August. Long way to go yet. I remember in 2010 we lost four in a row and people including me thought we'd cock the POs up. Then we won 5 in a row. I hope we can do the same again. But i am concerned that we aren't scoring enough at all, and aren't even threatening.
iancognito Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 It can be so depressing supporting Leicester with such a large moronic fan base. I agree Pearson comes across as a penis sometimes, but he's done alright in a short time here. Shut up and support the team and stop moaning.
Guest ttfn Posted 9 March 2013 Posted 9 March 2013 I definitely think the time has come for a sensible debate on this. Before Tuesday I really thought he'd turn it around. Before today I thought he probably would turn it around. Now I don't think he will.
