Aus Fox Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Pearson can not handle the top earners he has shipped them off ( Neil Danns, Jermaine Beckford) better on our bench than some other f ckers! that's what I am on about mate! Or the club can't afford them, have you heard of FFP? And anyway what exactly have any of the loanies done while out on loan that makes you think they would improve our squad?
Dan Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Except we don't have Cech, Terry, Lampard or a Drogba. We have a young squad lacking in confidence who won't get any better by not having a clue who's going to be their boss from one month to the next. Have a bad run and sack the manager - it's an attitude made popular by plastic fans who think football started in 1992. If football's taught me anything it's that most football fans know fvck all about running a club and even less about who their ideal manager should be. A bad run of form does not justify a sacking. Sacked when we're in the top 6. It's a joke. It's utterly pathetic how everyone jumps on the manager sacking bandwagon. Do people not seriously think about things?
Wakeyfox Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Lets stand by the big man! I feel a good run starting with a win at cardiff. beat derby sat. All is good in life! Well, I see that the world has not ended this morning, Pearson has not been sacked (so far) and hopefully 'supporters' will start to to do that, support the man and the team.
Guest Col city fan Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Well, I see that the world has not ended this morning, Pearson has not been sacked (so far) and hopefully 'supporters' will start to to do that, support the man and the team. That's what we were doing yesterday isn't it? This whole 'lack of support' thing is nonsense. Yesterday, their were over 24,000 at the KP to watch the team. What we were subjected to was shit. Again, the same as Tuesday. Shit. But we were still there (were you by the way? Just wondered?) and will continue to be there. The team should be giving the fans something to cheer for.
Cropwellfox Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 With a fortnights break after next Saturdays game, failure to win either of the next two games and the temptation to change might be that much stronger for the owners.
Happy Fox Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 I wouldn't wait till the international break that would be the period for the new manager to have his mini pre season with the players to get the best out of them etc. So in other words appoint a new manager this week.
Mark_w Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 That's what we were doing yesterday isn't it? No, no it really wasn't what the majority of the 24,000 people at the ground were doing yesterday.
LJS Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Of course it is. Every Leicester Cty fan there will have gone in wanting us to win that match. Even those who do not like Pearson want him to do well because if he does well, we do well. But it is not a necessary function of a supporter to like the manager or to think he is the right man for the job.

muzzy1981 Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Jonny fox I am struggling to find an opinion in anything you post other than stating that you know for a fact that thais Pearson is a gonna. Do you want him to stay?
ibbosuk Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Pearson has nothing more to give us, does not motivate, players can't/wont respond to him. Nothing on the bench that's going to remotely help us out of this crisis. From here Pearson will send us into football oblivion. That's why the owners will do the right thing and sack him, then get somebody in who can motivate and get the players confidence back. HE'S JUST GOT TO GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kitchandro Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 Do you think getting behind the players wins us points? If that's the case we would have had 3 points from Peterborough away, where we had 5,000 fans singing and getting behind the players all game. If I pay my money for a ticket and want to go on my phone throughout the match its got fvck all to do with you or anyone else. Try it the next time you go to a game. Go on your phone for 5-10 minutes see if it makes any difference to the outcome of the game. Not necessarily, but if you don't think it can help lift the team and intimidate the opposition you are sadly mistaken. That is the idea behind it. Besides you pay your money to watch your team yet you'd rather look at your phone? It's like people don't go for the football or the atmosphere anymore. It's like it's just somewhere to congregate and look hard whilst they do their own thing (apart from when they want a good moan of course).
Rocky Dennis Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 A question for all of you mongoloids (can I say that?) who want NP sacked because of our current 'sticky patch' IF you get your wish and the new manager suffers a similar run of form , will you want him sacked as well? Where will it end? This club has more than its fair share of idiotic 'supporters' many of whom regularly frequent this forum!

wattolcfc Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 The last time we were not in the top 6 this season was after game 7... we are now onto game 36, even if we lose to Cardiff we will still be in the top 6 with 37 played... Will we hold on for another 9 games? ..Only time will tell!

escape2victory Posted 10 March 2013 Posted 10 March 2013 we have changed manager every year for the past 10 years and its got us nowhere. there is no guarantee a new manager will improve things. the only thing it will guarantee is a lot more expenditure, players coming and going, the same cycle we have been on for a decade. given time I think Nigel will sort it, couple of tweaks in the summer. not wholesale changes

If he has been at the club as long as Pearson has and never shown any sign that he can improve on his obvious weak points then yes, of course. I don't think he is capable of getting us promoted. That being the case, what is the point? There seems to be a bizarre cult of loyalty to Pearson because he has managed to perform better than some of the worst managers in our history. I hope my my bosses judge my professional performance against the targets I'm set (and the high standards I set for myself) rather than some of the poorest performers in my field. I'd find the latter approach quite insulting. You'd do well to learn that people don't disagree with you because they are 'idiotic' or 'mongoloids', by the way. Once in a while it is worth taking a step back and asking whether the reason people disgree with you on a particular point is because you are indeed wrong.
