They're all starting to piss me off now - Pearson's dire and ameture interviews and Youngie and Birch both sounding like his agent. We all know you want to keep your jobs, but get real boys - NP is history. Defeat tomorrow should do it, whether after the game or in May - don't really matter. Pearson has a great knack of driving the idealism out of players and fans. I really couldn't care less about the results anymore. Personally i feel the back 4 when everyone is fit will still be De Laet, Morgan, Keane and Konch meaning no place for SSL or Whitbread. We dont need both on the bench so SSL has gone to get some game time and minutes. He wont get match fit sitting on our bench..... Having said all that, he's average at best and always will be. It's a mutual decision out of respect, he has just come back from injury and needs game time to build fitness, we have international matches coming up again before the season end and he naturally needs to win his place back in the Ireland squad, he can only do this by playing every week, he won't get a look in here unless there is an injury in which case he will be called back anyway. Not to mention the fact if his fitness levels are better he will be a good asset to have in the play offs. We are using Millwall as a personal reserve squad essentially, cheers guys. This is serious business now and they need to man up and get on with it. From a playing point of view we won't miss St Ledger so I don't see the issue.
