eddylcfc Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Official Foxes on twitter confirming this... Thoughts?
Deucalion Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 I hope he knows they will get the mardies when he doesn't sign for them permanently.
Lukey Boi Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 What is he doing?! Thought we were short at the back!
Finnegan Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Understandable, to be fair, we've got far too much cover at the back.
LCFC BEAST Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Gives him a chance to get some first team football and get his fitness up
Soar Fox Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 So that leaves only Zak Whitbread as defensive cover?
connorlcfc Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 bad move by a bad manager and with his job slipping away from him , best bring someone in
eddylcfc Posted 28 March 2013 Author Posted 28 March 2013 I would have thought a recall clause would be put in place. We have plenty of quality at th back. Don't understand why people are having a hissy fit over this, IMO hasn't looked fit since he's been back so a month of regular football can only be of benefit to us
Happy Fox Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Is NFP out of his mind? Stupid question he is we haven't got any defensive cover the ever reliable Whitbread must be fit..
NewburyFox Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Who is the cover at right back with both Moore and SSL out on loan? Bizarre.
LCFC FOX Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Who is the cover at right back with both Moore and SSL out on loan? Bizarre. Jamie Vardy, using another striker
ousefox Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Very odd, SSL is the best defensive cover we have. Keane better not get injured. Must have a recall clause
RowlattsFox Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Quick question, will Michael Keane be available for playoffs should we get there? Or does his loan expire after the Forest game. That's the only circumstance that makes letting SSL go and get match fit seem reasonable.
Number 6 Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Seems an odd decision to me. We're very top heavy in terms of position distribution in out squad.
KFS Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Got to rebuild the relationship with them in an attempt to grab Liam Trotter from them in the summer
StanSP Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 I'm just concerned about the lack of cover at the back, and was so even before this loan move. Konchesky, Schlupp, Morgan, Keane, RDL, Whitbread. Whitbread's played less than SSL so why was he not sent out on loan too, if the argument for SSL going out was to get match fit for the play-offs? I'm confused, like others. Maybe wages, as well? But if wages were such a big problem why was he not sold in summer and replaced with someone else? Admittedly he was injured in January so wasn't attractive to clubs back then, but I'm just perplexed he's gone out when we were already short on cover at the back.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Has Pearson finally gone bonkers? The only defensive cover is now Whitbread?
Tielemans63 Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 Strange move - making room for another one in maybe? Hopefully?
Walker Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 bad move by a bad manager and with his job slipping away from him , best bring someone in Sorry how's he a bad manager? Look at the league table fella
davieG Posted 28 March 2013 Posted 28 March 2013 If he's not playing he wont get or stay fit, the guy needs competitive gsmes which he wont get sat on our bench, this assumes there's a recall option . It would be nice to think this could freeup some funds to get cover in for another position.
