hornyhollthefox123 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 All the best today. I think we'll get beaten comfortably looking at that side..

TrentFox Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 That looks 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 to me with Nugent as a central striker flaked by Schlupp and Marshall with 3 in the middle ??
Libertine Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Was hoping for along those lines, but Schlupp and RDL at full back and Knockaert & Dyer on the wings. We'll see.
darko2k7 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 451/433 ? -------------Schmeichel Moore Morgan © Keane Konchesky ----- Drinkwater, James, King Marshall------------------- Schlupp. --------------Nugent Looks solid in defence terms but weak going foward . Cropwellfox Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Looks like trying to match up against Brightons line up. Brave selection, lets hope it comes off for the team and for NP. Nice to see 3 academy players starting together
MGLCFC Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Thank God he's dropped De Laet. Why? He's had the odd bad game, but has looked our most potent threat going forward. If anyone can enlighten me as to why King deserves a starting berth I'd like to know - the bloke has been anonymous in most games.
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Thank God he's dropped De Laet. One poor game for De Laet? We have no sort of outlet.. Schlupp can't beat a man. We'll get stuck in our own half with 3 in the middle and Nugent will get isolated. Marshall must have done some serious arse licking to get back in. Fox92 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 No he's poor defensively. Moore is a more solid right back. De Laet is good going forward, but see how many goals come down the right.
Strokes Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Seems as though its 4-5-1 to me, playing on the counter. Dropping wood for me is right he is too slow and tempts us into hoofball.
cc_star Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Loving that Wood has been dropped!!! About frickin time. Not sure Nugent & Schlupp are an ideal pairing though, Nugent has to cut in from the left to be at his best... And Schlupp's game is also from the left. Perhaps Schlupp is outside left in a front 3, with Nuge more central? I think Gallagher is unlucky not to be in over Marshall in his current form Oh well, here goes!!! Regardless of who plays, the key is playing in the opposition half and not dropping off.
Tom17LCFC Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Wanted Knockaert in a central role today, but glad we've got 3 in the middle and Schlupp playing on the wing. Hopefully Marshall should have a point to prove as well and Nuge won't give them a moments rest. Come on city!!!!!
hornyhollthefox123 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 No he's poor defensively. Literally, what have you been watching. All the best then not having his pace against Buckley running at our full backs today then. Seriously confused how you think dropping De Laet is a good thing. cc_star Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 No he's poor defensively. Moore is a more solid right back. De Laet is good going forward, but see how many goals come down the right. The right is by far our strongest defensive side And without RDL on the overlap we could be short in numbers in attack I'd have played RDL at LB & Moore at RB Konch is stealing his (Liverpool class) wages from us and has been all season. Disgraceful situation.

TheUltimateWinner Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 RDL has one poor game and is dropped. Marshall has done nothing all season and abuses fans yet starts... Horrible team selection.

His pace and directness and willingness to run at defenders gives us a threat that Marshall hasn't offered for a long time.

Bettsj2 Posted 6 April 2013 Share Posted 6 April 2013 Looks an excellent side to me. I'd have played Knocky instead of Marshall but i'd love to see Marshy have a good game. Gwon Marsheh.
