Samilktray Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 Picked up a Krombacher and an Erdinger from Tesco. They have a crap selection.

Leicfox Posted 4 April 2015 Posted 4 April 2015 Started off with a can of this to watch The Voice. Pretty poor and won't get again.

Voll Blau Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Cool cans. Might have to get an eight-pack in for the funeral. Had a pint in the Parcel Yard on Saturday. Great gear. Also had some stuff in the Swan & Rushes made with champagne hops, which tasted weird. Tried a bottle of Brooklyn East India yesterday. Yank brewery following an Engish recipe, it's very good.
Samilktray Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 I was in the Malt Shovel this afternoon drinking Liska, and my word, what a lovely beer.
Finnegan Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Mmmmm, Karmeliet Tripel. Finally got myself over to Waitrose.
Unabomber Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Mmmmm, Karmeliet Tripel. Finally got myself over to Waitrose. One of my faves and prob my fave tripel, seriously good stuff.
Finnegan Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Yeah very nice. Hadn't found it anywhere in this country (I never really mail order) but my missus has a big love for Leifmanns so we popped over to Waitrose to get her some and voilà. I keep meaning to visit 'The Offie' on Clarendon Park Road as it looks, quite frankly, like heaven.
The Doctor Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Old growler in the kings head is good stuff. Bumped into Ken while here as well

The offie is good but his prices are a joke, almost pub prices but I guess he has to charge so much. He has a good selection though.
Samilktray Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I remember somebody in here mentioning Doombar. So i brought 1 today.

Samilktray Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 You won't regret it.I hope not. I also bought a banana bread beer because the concept of it blew my mind.
Unabomber Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I hope not. I also bought a banana bread beer because the concept of it blew my mind. It genuinely tastes like banana bread, I like to enjoy mine with a slice of banana bread.
Haydos Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 Black IPAs have grown on me recently, not sure if it's the flavour or the strength but they seem to compliment hoppy-ness a bit better than regular IPAs.
