Zapp Posted 12 April 2013 Share Posted 12 April 2013 the ref made the wrong call, we can blame ourselves for missed chances, we can blame nugent for the ridiculous decision he made, but the refs job is to get decisions right, tight or not if he made the correct decision we would not have drew the game (probably). the ref had a fair night, but if kasper spilt a last minute cross and they equalised that way, you would be blaming him, not saying "oh he didn't do anything else wrong so its okay" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

StanSP Posted 12 April 2013 Share Posted 12 April 2013 Was just outside the box, but to blame the referee for our shortcomings would be silly. The referee didn't cost us the game. It was not putting chances away when we should have and a bit of naivety from one player in particular. I thought the ref had an alright game. Gave a free kick to them when Wood used his shoulder but Nugent got scythed down 20 yards out and didn't give anything? Swear he had a Birmingham shirt on.
