Guest MattP Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Our press is nowhere near as bad as the papers in spain, especially concerning Real & Barcelona. Its a gold fish bowl and they'll be all over him all the time. Thankfully someone talking sense, They have two newspapers dedicated just to football. They are ten times as bad as here. It says a lot about the quality of our football here now people are desperate to keep these disgusting people just for entertainment, turn off Sky Sports news and find something proper to entertain yourself.

theessexfox Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Am I the only one that doesn't care that much that he's a tw@t...? He's one of the most enjoyable players to watch in this league, therefore I want him on my screen.
Kitchandro Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Am I the only one that doesn't care that much that he's a tw@t...? He's one of the most enjoyable players to watch in this league, therefore I want him on my screen. Is he that enjoyable to watch? I've seen plenty of players who can do what he can do. He isn't that special. I find real entertainers like Bale and Messi (and Bamba!) exciting to watch, not players like Suarez who are most 'entertaining' when they're acting the goat. He's skilful, he's good, but enjoyable to watch? No, don't see it myself. He's just another very good striker.

Kitchandro Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 For me he's up there with the best quality players in the division. Maybe, but that doesn't mean he's a really exciting player to watch.
Charl91 Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Glad he's gone/going. Brings the game into disrepute IMO.
Guest MattP Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 On a serious point do people really believe he's being 'hounded out'.He should just come and admit he fancies a move to Real Madrid. The Liverpool fans will absolutely loving the victim angle on this. Get your candles ready.

Super_horns Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Don't bite,dive or cheat then the press won't have a go at you..simple as surely?
Guest Bilo Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 He's not being bullied, hounded out or victimised. He's just a ****. Good riddance to the overrated, buck toothed, vampire faced twat.
Fox92 Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 He should just come and admit he fancies a move to Real Madrid. Something I agree with. He has the chance to move to a warm country and play for another big club, and more importantly, compete in the European Cup... Don't think he'd be bothered about not winning a PL when he Madrid contantly make the quaters/semi's of the European Cup.
Bert Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 He's not being bullied, hounded out or victimised. He's just a ****. Good riddance to the overrated, buck toothed, vampire faced twat. Over rated?
Guest Bilo Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 I love posting for a reaction. Expected more anger than that from the Liverpool contingent. He's a class player, shit individual.
Adster Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 He's not being bullied, hounded out or victimised. He's just a ****. Good riddance to the overrated, buck toothed, vampire faced twat. He's hardly overrated, to be fair.
Fox92 Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 Seen a picture of a Suarez shirt being burnt. Not sure how many shirts, not sure how many fans. I've got all of Gerrard's DVDs and on one of them it shows you when he got the same treatment from a fan, when he was linked with Chelsea/UTD/Madrid/Bayern.
Corky Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 They do it partly for show and also because they believe {insert player name} loves the club. They don't, they might care a lot when they are there and say lovely things when they go but it's a career and if a better opportunity comes along players are unlikely to turn it down. There might be an element of truth in the press hounding out but would that be the excuse, the sole reason given if say West Ham or Newcastle had been linked and not Real Madrid? The prospect of playing in the European Cup, plus a genuine chance of a title medal in the immediate future is going to tempt a top, in-demand player. He might care about Liverpool but not to the extent that he'll stay no matter what.
theessexfox Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1rkj4f5 Interesting read.
Kitchandro Posted 31 May 2013 Posted 31 May 2013 I think overrated is quite fair at times. People talk like he's irreplaceable and the English league will be worse off without him, which is total shite. Very good player, but like I said, there'll be more where that came from sooner or later.
