Forest Post-Match

I honestly think that day is going to give me a more positive long-term outlook on Leicester as a club. No matter how we do in the play-offs, yesterday has made me realise anything really is possible in football. For so long we seem to have been a side who does a lot of good things, yet nothing particularly outstanding. Yesterday we ended probably our worst ever run at a particular ground, in the last minute, to steal the most unlikely of play-off places. You just cannot make this shit up.

The best thing about it is I think it's the absolute ultimate confidence booster, keep that up for 3 games, and we're a Premier League side.

Simply amazing. I will never ever forget that. 4/5/2008 we suffered badly, five years to that day, we have delivered an absolute memory.

What comes from that? Play-off semi final dates of the 9th & 12th of May - the exact same two dates as the Cardiff pain. It's time to put that right too.

I hold my hands up, i never expected us to win, i didn't think the players could handle the pressure and rightly so with the comments Nugent said a while back, i was questioning NP, i never ever thought Blackpool would get any result at Bolton and well it came back to bite me on the ass but what a lovely bite on the ass it was!!

I just can not believe we actually made the play-offs, 3 wins in 18? and we still make them! what a crazy division this is... I keep thinking is this real? did the footballing gods do us a favour today and then i see us in 6th and i'm like ****ing hell they did!

We are in the position i thought we could achieve with the squad we have, now we have to turn this stroke of luck into something fantastic!

One of them days I'll never forget, still aint sinking in i have to keep reminding myself we're only in the playoff's and not up. Good job they dont care about us though or it'd be really hurting right now.

Best game i've ever been to and didn't even know i was going until yesterday. Incredible. Celebrations were manic, i ended up on my back on the floor with a couple of people on top of me..

When the forest fans started celebrating after our goal i genuinely thought Bolton had scored. What a day, Kasper was incredible with some of the saves he pulled off too.

Still can't actually believe our season isn't over.

They had scored, it was disallowed

Just remember dancing on one of the concrete walls for about 20 mins after the game! God know what I did when we scored! Total scenes!

Best awayday ever!!"

To be fair to forest, some of their fans are being really decent about it on their forum. Obviously there's the odd tw@t that seems more bothered about saying they dont care about us than missing out on the play off's.

Keep it in your memory banks Dan...

Something to tell your kids buddy if and when you have any.

Days don't get much better than that do they?

Not in my experience anyway.

I don't know what other threads have said but I am drunk and really happy. I didn't expect this when I woke up and I live in Nottingham....this was a brilliant day. Haha

I've been checking since 5.34 a.m. this morning. I've gone through everything written and garbled out since that golden whistle-blow yesterday afternoon. I can now confirm that absolutely nobody has previously made any reference, anywhere else on this forum, to you being drunk .

Can't argue with that, I thought Norwich away was my best away day, but the forest away as just beaten that.

I only wish we'd get some decent highlights tonight, sounded an absolute classic on the radio and SSN.

Unfortunately we'll get 30 seconds of rushed goals.

Probably be some better ones on ssn website in a couple of days

I literally think it'll change my attitude on Leicester forever. I've always thought I was born at the wrong time where Leicester are involved, we seem to have been on a downward spiral ever since I started going. Yesterday was a game I'll never forget, we always used to approach these games with some sort of optimism because we've done things like it in the past - but I thought those days were well and truly gone.

I'll say this too - for all of Pearson's faults, he's a big game manager. There have been a lot of occasions now where his side has delivered where it matters.

I just hope he learns from yesterday that we're so much better when we put teams on the back foot, and try to control the game. It breeds confidence and eventually success.

And I think if he takes the same attitude to Watford, we will be there on the 27th.

Oh yeah, was funny seeing the ****** dancing to chelsea dagger, as cringworthy as mauled by the tigers.

It's awful isn't it. The majority of Forest fans I speak to hate it too.
