Guest Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They get a lot of crap on here. But today they showed what true supporters they are.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Yeah I was never a huge fan but they were pretty good today
Benji Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Very enjoyable today. Just talked about the game - all I ask for. Great listen.
Finnegan Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 We're all supporters, doesn't mean we should be professional broadcasters. They're a pair of clowns.
Daz93 Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They can be unprofessional and ridiculous at times, but my god do they have passion - great listening.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They can be unprofessional and ridiculous at times, but my god do they have passion - great listening. Yep they do have lots of passion, and it showed today Youngy was almost crying at fulltime
Guest BlueBrett Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 I don't require professionalism. Football isn't a business to me.
whitlock Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 I missed the commentary. Anyway I can listen to there highlights?? Shivers
Ian W LCFC Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 I missed the commentary. Anyway I can listen to there highlights?? Shivers You listening now?? They always play them at the end of the program.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 I would rather have listened to them than watch it on Sky today. True fans perspectives are all that matters. They were quality today, as was the team.
absolutelegend Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Really enjoy listening to them. Excellent stuff :-)
Jace Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Great commentary today but could of smashed Stringer in the face when he said 'There has been a goal at Bolton' in the last couple of minutes
cc_star Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They get a lot of crap on here. But today they showed what true supporters they are. Yep, usually me... Today they were brilliant, even before the winner... I'd stopped listening to the radio before today, because of how negative Stringe made everything sound... or how down Youngy can be if we're not playing a clogger who kisses the badge every 2mins Enjoyed them today, did a good job
AmyLGK Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Why is Nigel not giving interviews? Has he fallen out with Stringer again?
bluesbrothers Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 You realise the "Allez les Bleus" is going to go down as an unforgettable soundbite in the club's history. One of those things that will get played before kickoff, in the background on LCFC songs and the like.Time to come out of the closet and declare my love on here for Stringer and Youngy. Listening to the playback of the rather muted commentary of those classic Claridge goals, I'd take Ian's passion any day, even if it does grate occasionally. And Alan Young is a good assistant commentator. He's miles ahead of Steve "Let's Talk About Me" Walsh.Long may their radio partnership continue - hopefully in the Prem next year!!!!! < And THIS GUY.
Lambert09 Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Today was genuinely the best radio commentary ive ever heard. Sure it may be biased due to the result etc but I loved it. Credit where its due, say what you like about them, they love the club as much as any of us.
Guest Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They love the club more than some of us when you read this forum!!
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 They did a top job today, I was on the end of seat for the whole match. Still can't believe what's happened
kingfox Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 I'm glad I didn't listen to the radio, or I would of probably actually pissed myself. That wouldn't of been very good would it, I could of definitely been classed as Bernie's replacement then
Saxondale Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Love them, love the City, love everything at the moment. Looking forward to Natalie Jackson's take on all this on EMT. No doubt a Play-Off-Disappointment Special live from Fawaz Al-Fasawi's massive house.
Kitchandro Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Fair play to Youngy in particular, in the face of adversity he always believed we'd make the play-offs. I expect passion from them because I know they do care, they are never short on that. But today they described the action really well considering it was such a pulsating game. Usually I give them a bit of stick for not doing that but today they were very good.
