"But it has not been very sporting. When you win most every game by many goals, you must ask if the fans are getting value for their money. And since we do not see supporters as house cats to be milked, we have decided to refund their money for what has turned out to be a season of one-sided exhibitions. After all, no one should have to pay to watch someone play FIFA 13 on amateur difficulty and clearly we do not need their money anyway. I certainly don't want it. I don't pay taxes, so I already have more money than I know what to do with. We are not greedy like the English."
glenny_fox Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 If they are moaning about the lack of competition, why are they buying all the best players from Germany? It is a brilliant gesture though.
darko2k7 Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 What is the deal with seemingly constant attack on the English clubs, Don't get me wrong the English clubs are run badly but what are they getting out of this attacking the English model thing? And what does it say about how German football is run that in his own words the league is to easy . Yes German clubs treat there fans better but i don't see this caring attitude extended to the other German clubs that the chairman is massively disrespecting in this statement also. But they won't do that because they know full well they hold a massive monopoly in the German game and they wont be giving that up will they for better enjoyment for the fans . And the bit about not paying taxes and having more money that he can spend but not being greedy is just laughable
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 How did it take SIX posts for people to realise it was a pisstake?!
kylestyle06 Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Look at the comments on the link How gullible can some people be lol
whoareyaaa Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Maybe because no one actually clicked the link LOLOLOL
darko2k7 Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 i should have followed the link before posting . I will leave my post there as a reminder to myself to click before i post
Carl the Llama Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 My only regret is that BlueBrett pointed it out before more posters stuck their feet in their mouths.
Finnegan Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 You shouldn't need to click the link to know that's a pisstake. Smacks of a bit of bitterness though, bit sore because he did put the boot in to the Prem the other day. Generally shit satire but then it is Yahoo news.

Not really it was only a few days ago he was banging on about how 2m means nothing to him.
Finnegan Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Not really it was only a few days ago he was banging on about how 2m means nothing to him. ALL ticket sales ALL season?! They can't turn down that sort of income!!! You've had a mare, mate, stop digging.
whoareyaaa Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 ALL ticket sales ALL season?! They can't turn down that sort of income!!! You've had a mare, mate, stop digging. They only charge £2 a ticket though don't they. I've not had a mare I just didn't click the link
Carl the Llama Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 They only charge £2 a ticket though don't they. I've not had a mare I just didn't click the link Try €22 (£18.58). Granted it gets cheaper the more you buy (5 cost €38), but then multiply that by avg attendance and then by all their home games in the league and cup and, as Finn says, you've had a female horse.

dave_the_fox Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Did nobody read the fifa bit to realise it was a windup!?
StanSP Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 I still think Jace_Hobbs thinking Atalanta was a club in USA (SSL topic) was a bigger mare than this . But still, all who fell for this should be ashamed!
theessexfox Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Ashamed to say that only upon reading the posts did I realise it was a wind up...
Kitchandro Posted 7 May 2013 Posted 7 May 2013 Obviously people didn't read it til the end: "The team we built is simply too good," he continued. "This is why we are bringing in Pep Guardiola next season. Hopefully with a manager less experienced than Jupp Heynckes who cares more about possession than scoring hundreds of goals, there will be closer matches and more drama on the pitch. If not, we will have the players do actual work by cleaning the homes of ticket holders after matches."
