You can list those players and there fee's but shall I do it with the players he has sold?

Rooney £30m, Lescott £25m, Rodwell £14m, A.Johnson £14m, McFadden £7m, Bilyaletdinov £6m.

It certainly adds up to more than he spends on players...

I wish him well, honestly hope he wins titles and trophies he deserves, I'm sad it won't be with Everton but he has done all he can with no backing at our club and taken us from relegation fodder and given our fans our pride back.

Clearly a v good manager but still represents quite a gamble. Can see Utd going a year or two without a trophy, although I think long term it'll work out. Pleased for Moyes. Fergie - upmost respect. Can't imagine football without him.

I mentioned this in other thread, I think Moyes is an interesting choice especially considering his history with Rooney which is one of Man.Utd's talisman though his form this season don't warrant it.

Rooney has previously criticised his man-management and training methods. Otherwise I think Moyes deserves it and it gave off a nice vibe that if you work your way up in English football then you are able to get a top job which is a nice change instead of teams such as Chelsea appointing well known foreign managers outside of Premiership with no understanding of English football.

To be fair Moyes was a fledgling manager and Rooney was only a kid when they last worked together. I'd dare say it's all water under the bridge now, and Rooney has grown up a little and Moyes has improved as a manager.

TBH I don't think Moyes will change the squad an awful lot. He might bring in a few players but the squad is still capable of winning more trophies, as long as Utd keep being as consistent as they have been this season.

Rooney and Moyes get on fine now, always hugging and laughing at the end of our fixtures against each other!

Rooney could probably use a fresh start, Moyes arriving might be it.

Glad you wrote that, saves the rest of us with half a brain stating the blindingly obvious to the idiots.

Everton players he can take with him................................?

Will be suprised if he doesn't go for Baines. He would be my priority if I was Moyes.

He might go for Fellaini and maybe Jagielka as well?

Not an Everton player but Joleon Lescott maybe?

Wasn't he linked with United anyway? (Or Fergie was 'looking' at him).
