bluesbrothers Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 I'd like it to be Mourinho, just because it would reeeeeally piss off those deluded idiots at Stamford Bridge. Especially after how they've treated Benitez.
FrankieADZ Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 i think its going to be either Moyes or Jose, while Moyes has the stability fact & all that....Jose is the kinda manager who can keep winning trophies.
foxfanazer Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Just can't see United being able to resist Mourinho. Once in a lifetime chance for them
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 I've always thought it would be Moyes, so I'll go with him.
AyewJoking Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Didnt fergie mention moyes as an ideal replacement some time ago? moyes seems the safe option, isnt going to bring the club into disripute (like mourinho would) wont complain when the glazers deny him transfer money (like mourinho would) wont bugger off after 2 years to the next big job (like mourinho would)
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 I wish they would give it to a couple of Manu stalwarts rather than an established mercenary manager. I could stomach Moyes but if that arrogant willy puller Mourinho gets his greasy paws on our greatest and most iconic football institution I will be quite upset. I'd love to see a management team made up of the Nevilles, Giggs and Scholes (perhaps with Golden Balls as director of football!) I know I'm dreaming.

AKCJ Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Sky Sports News â€@SkySportsNews2m Sky Sports understands that Manchester United will announce their next managerial appointment in next 48 hours #ssn
Happy Fox Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Moyes written all over it, unless the Manchester United board have someone else lined up.
AKCJ Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Sky Sports News â€@SkySportsNews2m Sky sources: David Moyes is in "pole position" to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager #ssn
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Are you a United fan? I hope they get screwed over by a foreign mercenary! Can't stand the club! Obviously not but I'm not a hater. I have a lot of respect for United and I grew up watching them fly the flag for English football in Europe. They have given us some of the most memorable footballing occasions of all time (that don't involve Leicester). Somebody has to be at the top of the game in this country and I'd rather it be them than the Russians down South or the Arabs next door. Can't stand Arsenal, Spurs have rubbish fans and Liverpool are nowhere so where else do you look?
Corky Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Big Ron on TalkSport agrees with me, Allardyce should be a contender.
AyewJoking Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Moyes written all over it, unless the Manchester United board have someone else lined up. reeeeeeeally?

Samilktray Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Apparently the next manager will be announced when he resigns from his current job. Moyes won't need to resign, he's out of contract.
Fox92 Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Moyes was also the favourite for Newcastle (2008) and Spurs (last season), so anything could happen. However, I can see it being him, unless it really is Mourinho?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Everything seems to be pointing towards Kenny Jackett
AKCJ Posted 8 May 2013 Posted 8 May 2013 Someone just raised a good point on twitter. Would Chelsea, City or Arsenal go anywhere near Moyes?
