jimifox4life Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 The loan rules should be changed. Shouldn't be allowed to rent a team. One or two yes but not 7. It's getting to the point like Barcelona and Madrid where they have a b team to compete in the league below.
CardiffAlex Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Too soon? Maybe. Having had many Leicester fans taunt CCFC about bottling it etc over the past few seasons, can't say I didn't find it amusing.
cjslcfc Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Maybe. Having had many Leicester fans taunt CCFC about bottling it etc over the past few seasons, can't say I didn't find it amusing. Hahahaha. Well, we bottled it this time. Couple of Play Offs we have lost in now. Could be a sign of things to come (That we can do what you did this year and put it behind us - I can only hope). Good luck in the prem next year

Vlad the Fox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I have no gripes with Watford as they haven't broken any rules, the football league/fa have stuffed up in letting the situation exist. It would be more beneficial to reverse the rules in favour of home grown players. Just on a side note, if Watford get promoted and qualify for Europe next season where do they stand as isn't there a eufa ruling that two clubs in the competition can't be owned by the same person, assuming udinese qualify.
CardiffAlex Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Fair play. Some good banter. I honestly thought it would be us 2 going up automatically in January, still surprised by your dip. I guess this means that Pearson could be on his way? Good luck next season - be good for Leicester to be back in prem.
smudger63 Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 As it says, part of me was geniunely happy the twat missed, and there needs to be tougher laws bought in for players who have been found to purposely dive after video evidence, only way we are going to get rid of it. Justice was done today. Did he throw himself to the floor? Yes he did, but the Watford player did grab his shoulder and gave him a slight push, which gave him the option of going down. Chances are if it had been down the other end, one of their players would have done the same.
ousefox Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 The one ****ing time a dodgy as hell decision goes for us and we cock it up! If that was given against us i would have been fuming, but i was delighted that after all the shit decisions we've had that something had gone our way, then we **** it up!! Can't actually remember the last time we advantaged from a shit refereeing decision, yet every team does it against us.

Just to clarify does the same person(s) own Watford and udinese?
Harry - LCFC Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Ok, carry on feeling sorry for yourself, if it makes you feel better. Personally i'd rather carry on, get on with things and sort things rather than crying and feeling sort for myself, perhaps it's just my mindset though. Disliking cheating, what a terrible trait for me to hold. I apologise.

No they haven`t broke any rules, just cleverly exploited a loophole in the rules. I`m hoping they lose in the final though, because although they seem to think they will be signing all their loanees permanently for nothing, if they don`t go up, the chances are, most of them will not fancy spending another season at championship level, and it will take an awful lot to rebuild their team from scratch. On a side note, i`d take Deeney off their hands. A proper centre forward he is!

Father Ted Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Who gives a **** if he dived? How many times have we been robbed by crap refs this season? If we had decent refs this year we would have finished top 2. GTFO who ever says it's justice, how can you call yourselves Leicester fans? Ref missed two BLATANT sending offs for Watford and (so I've heard) Wood was never offside, so if there's so called 'justice', it was by giving a penalty.

We spent £500,000 on him, the only transfer money we had and for the first year or so he was rubbish. Last season under Dyche he started to show signs of the player he could become. This season he has been absolutely immense, the best centre forward in the championship in my opinion. As biased as it is.
jimifox4life Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 I thought so? Right so we need to get friendly with the people at Barcelona.

Jace Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 Difference being they were taken on normal loans, and didn't make up the bulk of the team. Watford meanwhile have just been sent Udinese's spares, and due to the international loop hole have been able to make up a team full of loanees. It's unethical - why do you think the FA has rules forbidding multiple ownerships (of british clubs anyway)? The FA have reviewed the rules on multiple ownership to help protect the clubs security, what has that got to do with loaning players? And what is the difference between a normal loan and a watford loan?
Corky Posted 12 May 2013 Posted 12 May 2013 What blatant sending offs are these then? Cassetti- booked once, kicked the ball away and wasn't booked (unlike Wood in the first half).

No wonder English football is on its arse

Watford's previous misbehaviour justified cheating on our own behalf. They shouldn't be in the final so it would be only right to knock them out via an incorrect penalty decision.
