Players for next season, Who do want, Who's free?

were bigger and better than Leeds

Oh don't do that, we don't want to be challenging at the top of the Deluded League like Birmingham and Forest.

Birmingham have told Marlon King, Ambrose, Mullins and Lovenkrands they can leave on frees.

Personally would like Pearson to have a look at Ambrose, with his injuries last season he might not be in a position to demand high wages.

I know we're only being linked with players! But for saying everyone is worried about FFP! We seem to be getting linking with quite high profile players.  Ie Upson,Bannan, vaughen, thomas! Its quite encouraging, fingers crossed we can pull some of these signings off.  I think we'll make 5 signings.  I think Nigel see's the left hand side of our team to be our weak point.  On the right hand side we have Morgan,De laet,James,Knockeart and wood.  On the left hand side we have Konchesky (not good enough)  we need a partner for morgan,Dyer (bench player) and Nugent who isn't good enough in my opinion. From  what i can ascertain with the players we have been linked with nigel wants a new strike partner for Wood, a left winger, centre midfielder, centre back and hopefully a left back.  watch this space

Would ****ing love Troy Deeney, doubt it though. Seems to like Leicester judging by his tweets.

****ing hilarious some one asked him on twitter what the best atmosphere last season was and he said Leicester away. The guy then replied yeah was great, standing the whole game....HAHAH I don't think he was talking about your shit excuse for fans pal.

Matt Upson wouldn't be bad I reckon.

Wouldn't go near Ambrose. Another Gallagher.

According to BBC gossip, Man Utd are after a new LB. WIth this is mind and if Moyes keeps the loan agreement, then I'd love to see us get Alex Buttner for the season. Great pace and would be a good addition imo

I've heard Evra might be on his way out so they'd probably still want him as cover. If he did leave I would have thought it would be to a top flight club though

Peterborough have turned down a £2.5m bid for striker Dwight Gayle. Believe the bid has come from Fulham #ffc #posh

Same, but he's just modelled Watford's new kit and is asking fans what they think about it, so it looks unlikely.

People aren't quite grasping the fact that when a player is a free agent instead of paying a fee to a club they now pay the player instead and it still costs a lot. It was one of the main reasons Nugent signed for us under Sven.

Every year we Get linked with decent players, we never get any of them. As much as getting some of these players mentioned I doubt any of it will happen. We'll find another knockheart type secret hopefully

Still probably behind the fact Sven gave him his England cap, he was going down with Portsmouth and we would be the biggest club he's played for. Still I agree people tend to forget about the existence of signing-on fees.

Tell a lie, just double-checked that and it was actually McClaren.

Always thought Jay Tabb was a decent player, despite his Cov connections. Otherwise, John Bostock looked like a decent prospect, and Chris Baird would add experience. Nothing to set pulses racing mind.

Tabb has signed for Ipswich

Gary O'Neill released by West Ham, would love him here, and Alex Pearce from Reading, although he could be off to a Premiership side.
