I've championed Craig Dawson ever since he was at Rochdale - he'd be good for nigh on ten goals a season, great goal scoring record for a centre half. Him and Wes as a centre half pairing would be insanely good.

We desperatly need a LB and hes solid as any at this level...almost a massive step to promotion already if we got him..we'd be only a CB away from the best defence in the CCC.

Why do you want players QPR are after? Hes been on huge money for a large part of his career, he wouldnt be cheap and he isnt getting younger. Maybe we wanna bring Schlupp through there this coming season, maybe Konch is really up for next season, maybe we'll bring Taft through or even sign another player; we dont know the actual situation inside the club reagarding all this. I know weve obviously missed out on signing some gems in the past, but moaning when we havent gone in for someone like Bridge is ridiculous.

HoustonFox Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Good god no. Wayne Bridge is overrated, too old, too expensive and not good enough. Maybe there was a chance we might have bought him under Sven but no way under anyone else. Especially with FFP.

Mack Posted 6 June 2013 Posted 6 June 2013 Anyone who saw Schlupp against the better Championship sides at left back last season will know his defending was enthusiastic but poor. As for Bridge we dont need him. We'd be far better off getting a decent young left back in as cover for Konchesky.
