In the Nottingham evening post,Forest are chasing Chris McCann who has rejected a new contract but face rivalry with Leicester City and Wigan for his signature.

Really hope we are trying to sign him, good player.

Link? Couldn't find it anywhere.

Can anyone see us doing much business? not for me we would probably do it in August time which would be too late  to incorporate potential first team players.

We need to shift the deadwood sooner rather than later it is alright for clubs to say thy want players but that is all it is Wellens is probably happy here collecting X amount of wages instead of going to Donny on a reduced salary probably the same scenario for most our deadwood, unless playing football is what they truly want to do.

Riznarma. Interesting to read your post. Wouldn't surprise me to see Pearson move for Veseli, I'm sure he's aware of him and no-one can argue that we steer clear of United's fringe players :) .

I also wouldn't be shocked if it were to come to light that we were consdering Dale Jennings. I believe we were linked with him when he was at Tranmere and obviously Bayern saw some talent in him. The fact that he's not become established in Munich is hardly surprising and he's apparently been decent for their 'B' team. Still only young and a winger!

Barnsley front runners for Jennings according to Sky. I'd love it if we sign Veseli, he won't be short of admirers.

From Bayern to Barnsley

That makes Vardy seem like a worthwhile purchase

A striker- someone to add competition up front for wood and nugent, I know w have schlupp but he is still developing and if waghorn and vardy are leaving and one picks up an injury we have no back up. Sylvan ebanks Blake scores goals at this level and has just been released by wolves, he could be worth a shout. Adam le fondre has been linked with a move away from reading would be good if we could snap him up.

A winger- Nathan Redmond from Birmingham has impressed for club and country at u21s level recently and with Birmingham in there current financial situation he could be a good shout. He is the type of player Pearson likes to sign too, young and hungry. Sammy ameobi impressed on his loan spell at Middlesbrough from Newcastle last season he could be a possible loan target.

Centre back- it looks like we have missed out on alex baptiste ( can't decide if that's good news or bad) Michael Keene on a permanent or even back on loan would be nice but I think we need two centre backs to add competition, tom lees from Leeds is another young and hungry player but he may be a bit unrealistic.

Left back- koncheskey has a lot of haters amongst leicester fans but i for one am not a hater, I don't rate the guy either I just think he is average, we need someone to come In And add competition so that schlupp does not have to play out of position. Aidy white from Leeds would be a young lad who could come in and learn off koncheskey.

Goalkeeper- kasper is my favourite player, like a lot of fans but I can't see him been around for much longer, when we offer him the new contract it is decision time for Him, if he does leave god forbid we will need a new number 1 Conrad Logan? Joking of course not, Kieran Westwood of Sunderland is frustrated about game time he would be my main pick, joe Lewis of Cardiff is playing number 2 goally at the moment for them so he could be worth a look at.

Contracts- get our best players on new contracts, the likes of nugent, Morgan and of course kasper have got 1 year left on there deals.

Some of you may agree with my targets some may not one thing we all want into the see the foxes in the premier league.

How on earth do you explain him racking up the 3rd most appearances then? Indicating that, far from being one of our poorest players, he's actually one of the best. Joint ninth top goalscorer in the league, not spectacular but again showing him to be a competent enough striker.

I can see where people are coming from with most comments but this is just baffling, I really can't understand how you've come to that conclusion. If you wanted Nugent to go I could empathise with that point of view but saying he's one of our worst players?   :nono:

The chairman must have given you a big budget on Football Manager to do all of that..............................

Jay Bothroyd got released by QPR. Would love to see him here. He's got more about him than his size - I remember his left peg being lethal for Cardiff a couple of years ago. Needless to say his wage will be an issue; however with quality over quantity being the general state of mind, if we can ship out Vardy, Futacs, Waghorn and Beckford, it would be more than feasible.
