I think not, if we were going to give someone a second chance, surely Beckford is the better player and already at the club. If we are going to have another DJ Campbell situation, surely we don't want it to be with DJ Campbell.

Also, the massive wages that DJ sat on without contributing much are, as you are saying, probably much less than Beckford takes from the club without contributing.

He went away had time out of the game, and by his own admission chaged some of his management ideas, and has done well since. Maybe pearson would do well to do the same. Pearson likes to suround himself with young players who have no opinion and jump when he says jump. There is only room for one big ego at the football club he is at, and thats his own!
