Forgive my knowledge....I'm 16 and live in the Isle Of Man so don't hear a lot of news going about the KP I doubt we are skint, we just have to live within our means from now on due to FFP regulations coming in.
MPH Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Just because you don't understand something, doesn't mean it's not true And just because you tell us your opinion on something doesn't give it one iota of credibility...
Leicester_Numan Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 stop being naive ! his agent loves £££ thats why they are agents . its not up to nugent is it ? no agent would take a pay cut trust me , stop being silly ! those days have gone long time ago !Well, actually it is. The agent is the employee of the player not the employer. The player can tell the agent to take a running jump if he so wishes
jamesmilner Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Well, actually it is. The agent is the employee of the player not the employer. The player can tell the agent to take a running jump if he so wishes doesnt happen these days . loyalty is a swear word , its all about the £££££ ! too short a career .
MooseBreath Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 And just because you tell us your opinion on something doesn't give it one iota of credibility... Plenty of evidence in this thread alone showing that you're more than happy to talk crap about things you don't understand, so let's not talk about credibility shall we.
Foxblogger Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Cheap as chips The interest on the debts was £4m in 2011/12.
Callabinho Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 At the end of the day those players who wish to honour their contracts will see them out, those who wish to move on shall do, and Nigel shall replace them. End of discussion.

Mack Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 FFP is a huge sack of Platini post frog's legs shit to try and stop English Football from investing heavily. Imagine if in the Supermarket industry we had an FFP type system. ****ing stupid, almost like communism.
indierich06 Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 FFP is a huge sack of Platini post frog's legs shit to try and stop English Football from investing heavily. Imagine if in the Supermarket industry we had an FFP type system. ****ing stupid, almost like communism. It's clearly not, it's obviously to stop English clubs getting horrendously in debt. A lot of this money being 'invested' is just loaned to the clubs who let the debt pile up, it's not right. Can see Arsenal dominating English football for a long time if these rules are properly implemented in the PL.
Happy Fox Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 The original post is not accurate. Define accuracy then, if you know something spill the beans.
Bobby Hundreds Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Can see Arsenal dominating English football for a long time if these rules are properly implemented in the PL. United make more money than Arsenal.
bluesbrothers Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 You know something's BS if it breaks on Bentley's Roof before it does here.

And, ironically, since the wage cap on english rugby teams, the french rugby teams have prospered due to being unrestricted financially .

There you go again...YOU of all people accusing people of talking crap? That's just made my day!
indierich06 Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 There you go again...YOU of all people accusing people of talking crap? That's just made my day! He was right though, infrastructure investment is not affected by FFP.
MPH Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 He was right though, infrastructure investment is not affected by FFP. Yup - he was. Still amusing that he's calling someone else out on 'talking crap'!
yorkie1999 Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 He was right though, infrastructure investment is not affected by FFP. As demonstrated by the 11 statues we had playing for us for half of the last season.
Guest Posted 22 May 2013 Posted 22 May 2013 Define accuracy then, if you know something spill the beans. wrong person, wrong delivery not sure on the rest but assume it's made up
Burmesefox Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 And, ironically, since the wage cap on english rugby teams, the french rugby teams have prospered due to being unrestricted financially . You're taking about success on the field and not on the balance books - sugar daddies oiperate in French rugby too.
Lasty Posted 23 May 2013 Posted 23 May 2013 I just think that these rules, although well intentioned, will lead to more difficulties than they solve. Clubs won't be willing to pay much, even for good players, which will lead to a lot of frustrating transfer stalemates when it comes to negotiating a fee. It will also become very difficult to offload any bad signings due to no club wanting to pay to take them off your hands. More players will be on the scrapheap too as the bean counters will rule clubs even more now as football decisions get pushed way down the agenda. My other fear is that, like in rugby, the introduction of a 'cap' of sorts will lead to talent staying away from the FL and seeking better financial reward elsewhere. This would lead to a suffocating league of drudgery and mediocrity, even worse than it is now. Genuinely hope that I am wrong, but that is the way I see things heading.
