Up until now Pearson has had the extra responsibility of trying to sort the finances out. Shouldn't be his job but he's helped by offloading wages eg Mills, Beckford, Bamba, Fernandes, Danns. His hands have been completely tied in terms of who he can sign because of the finances. In my opinion he's done a fantastic job all things considered. I for one am glad they've bought someone in to focus on this so now Pearson can soley focus on picking the team. After all, that's his job

With you on that.

Weren't we about 18 games unbeaten at that point? We were in no danger of screwing up. Granted it was a big goal but it was hardly season-defining.

we had just drawn at home to oldham and swindon followed by drawing away at hartlepool and after the mk result we drew at home to stockport and lost away to tranmere, with 2 wins in that run so you could say we only won 2 in 7.

That was at a time when MK with a win could have closed the gap and posh started to come like a train late on. You may not see it as season defining but I'd suggest on the back of struggling to win games around that time another defeat and who knows what could have happened, let's be fair we have shown this year we know how to **** things up.

lets hope he gets rid of Pearson and gets someone in who knows how to play a fluid style ALL season and not bottle it and go back to what he knew best ---Hoof ball.

For what?!!

It's generally a tactic of those who didn't / don't like Pearson to try and shift the praise on to Robinson. It's not the first time it's been mentioned.

Tbf to Terry Robinson he has to take his share of the credit in helping re-stabilise us financially. That in turn has helped us on the pitch this season. He's done a good job.

He should get credit where it's due... but frankly nobody knows what he actually does to even give him any.

Since he arrived we have only shifted out a couple of players, players whom we all assume Pearson wanted rid of anyway, the bulk of the removing of players was done prior to him arriving here.

I'm with Babylon on that, we don't know exactly what he has done so it's hard to give him credit but what he hasn't done is interfere with Pearson's job which is what we feared would happen so credit to him for staying out of team matters.

Not wanting to be irritating but imagine if we had Knockaert and Gradel in the same team, it'd be unreal.

Ended up with Knockaert and Mahrez instead, just as fakkin good!

Not at all, Pearson has done an incredible and rightly deserves every single piece of praise that he gets, in fact, he probably deserves more than he gets.

Robinson is our Director of Football and has been part of the backroom which has got us where we have, in fact, I heard he personally flew to France to meet Mahrez. He's clearly a good appointment by our board given that he had a similar role at Stoke during the Pulis years.

The same Pullis who didn't like the bloke?

Some people have praised him in an attempt to slap Pearson's role down, even if you didn't mean it like that.

Whatever happened to flowwolf? lol

Actually, I had the same thought the other day. Was wondering what happened to MarbellaDave, too? Another 'regular' who just seems to have vanished. Hope Flowy and Dave are reading this from somewhere wonderful and grinning over a cool beer at the rest of us idiots glued to these pages waiting for some nugget of information. Makes you think, doesn't it? One day, all of us will have penned our last opinion on here before fading away into nothingness .... and, realistically, nobody will ever know. And on that cheery note ......
