There's so much jumping to conclusions here it's stupid.

Why can't people just wait and see what happens. It's not like any of us can do anything about it.

Foxestalk talk is a message board. The season has finished. People like talking about LCFC?

Yes pulis is currently unemployed, but doesn't mean a guy from stoke who has a new job here (think he was to do with the academy and scouting there) means we will go for him

ESP as we already have a manager!!

I don't see why everyone is jumping to the Pulis conclusion!? He only worked with him for 2 years at a club Pulis was already at, it's not as if they're an inseparable duo. We'd be just as likely of having any manager he ever appointed at his time running Sheffield United or Ferencvaros when he actually had a say in manager recruitment.

That's if we were looking for a manager in the first place!

I am.... and I think many, many people would disagree. :D

Not THE God, but y'know, fairly important I mean.

Says he has been a director and chairman of several clubs on wiki, not sure exactly what his role was at Stoke, but he's he's been in footy for at least a decade and has had a fair amount to do with the FA.

That last bit fills me with dread.

Please don't say Risdale

Sadly you're not far wrong. Another former Chairman of a Yorkshire club who chased the dream (albeit not as well) and faded to a shadow of their former selves.

Could of course be bull.

To be fair, football is about opinions, but we rarely share the same one.  :giggle:

Ultimately though, we all want what we feel is the best for our football club.

The Thais own the club and the entire debt, why would they now be looking to bring in outside involvment?

Someone who has experience of raining back the spending after chasing the dream and failing.... sounds a perfect fit! ;)

So I have been thinking about this most of the morning, and I literally can't think of anything good that can come of this. Anyone care to help me out?

A man who loves a late night swim. A knight of the realm no less!

With FFP being so important perhaps it will be good to have someone who knows his way around the FA and the Football League.  More football experience in the higher echelons of the club won't be a bad thing although NP might not agree!
