One Arm Babba Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Next up in the Leicester hot seat..... Tony "he wears the club shop" Pulis!
MPH Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 There's so much jumping to conclusions here it's stupid. Why can't people just wait and see what happens. It's not like any of us can do anything about it. Foxestalk talk is a message board. The season has finished. People like talking about LCFC?
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Fairly sure I read towards the end of last season that Pulis and Robinson had fall outs over the style of football played. Pulis also linked with a few jobs in La Liga so he will not be coming here.
nickyboy Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Yes pulis is currently unemployed, but doesn't mean a guy from stoke who has a new job here (think he was to do with the academy and scouting there) means we will go for him ESP as we already have a manager!!
21st Century Fox Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 I don't see why everyone is jumping to the Pulis conclusion!? He only worked with him for 2 years at a club Pulis was already at, it's not as if they're an inseparable duo. We'd be just as likely of having any manager he ever appointed at his time running Sheffield United or Ferencvaros when he actually had a say in manager recruitment. That's if we were looking for a manager in the first place!
Aus Fox Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 If what I've heard about who they've got lined up as Chairman is true then God help us. Martin George???
nickyboy Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 If what I've heard about who they've got lined up as Chairman is true then God help us. Please don't say Risdale
Trav Le Bleu Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 I am.... and I think many, many people would disagree. Babylon is a god! A GOD I tell you! Not THE God, but y'know, fairly important I mean.
Bayfox Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Says he has been a director and chairman of several clubs on wiki, not sure exactly what his role was at Stoke, but he's he's been in footy for at least a decade and has had a fair amount to do with the FA. That last bit fills me with dread.
smudger63 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Babylon are you on twitter? You talk the most sense out of anyone on here
Guest ttfn Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Please don't say Risdale Sadly you're not far wrong. Another former Chairman of a Yorkshire club who chased the dream (albeit not as well) and faded to a shadow of their former selves. Could of course be bull.
KFS Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Sadly you're not far wrong. Another former Chairman of a Yorkshire club who chased the dream (albeit not as well) and faded to a shadow of their former selves. Could of course be bull. Ken Bates!
smudger63 Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 I am.... and I think many, many people would disagree. To be fair, football is about opinions, but we rarely share the same one. Ultimately though, we all want what we feel is the best for our football club.

I have absolutely no idea who you mean

The Thais own the club and the entire debt, why would they now be looking to bring in outside involvment?
Babylon Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 The Thais own the club and the entire debt, why would they now be looking to bring in outside involvment? Someone who has experience of raining back the spending after chasing the dream and failing.... sounds a perfect fit!
AnotherShitSeason Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Oh he old! Awesome! Put the hat back on, squint your eyes a little, and we being run by...
ealingfox Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 So I have been thinking about this most of the morning, and I literally can't think of anything good that can come of this. Anyone care to help me out?
Guest ttfn Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 Mandaric!!!! Damn he's not former. I have absolutely no idea who you mean A man who loves a late night swim. A knight of the realm no less!
unreachable Posted 17 June 2013 Posted 17 June 2013 So I have been thinking about this most of the morning, and I literally can't think of anything good that can come of this. Anyone care to help me out? With FFP being so important perhaps it will be good to have someone who knows his way around the FA and the Football League. More football experience in the higher echelons of the club won't be a bad thing although NP might not agree!
